Accommodations in Brookshire

What a wonderful stay. We visited this home with another family, so we had 4 adults and 3 kids (all under 3 years old). The home was friendly for our littles, not too many breakables or unsafe items to worry about. We felt like there was plenty of space for all of us. The real highlight though was the scenery around the house. Pastures with flowers blooming full of goats, sheep, and a single donkey, pig, and turkey mixed in. Feeding the donkey was a favorite. They also had a chicken area with adult+baby chicks. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, and it had everything we needed. We forgot to bring chicken bullion, and Nahida was kind enough to share some of hers. A couple notes that may be helpful for future visitors: Some of the doors stick a bit, and it was hard for our 3 year old to open them if they were closed all the way. The bathroom is only accessible through either of the bedrooms which was a bit tricky after we put the kids to bed having to sneak through.

We love this place and stay here once a year. Love the cool library, the animals, piano, and proximity to renaissance festival.

Enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway! We stayed for over two week while my Dad recovered from open heart surgery. Place is as described and Mel communicated proactively and was incredibly responsive when we did have a questions. Would recommend!

Melinda our host, was great on responding was very fast. Very friendly the neighborhood was quiet and nice. , everyone had there grass was cut. We were able to sit on the porch for a little while. backyard was beautiful and private. The house is just like it was online. It was comfortable sleep. Thank you will come back to stay wasn’t far from family.

This place is in a very convenient location and the apartment was very clean. The perfect spot for a few night stay in Houston.

The kitchen had the best appliances. Modern and hexclad pans.

Where to start with this wonderful home. Unlike other Air BNB’s this location actually feels like a home and the host feels like an actual person and is quick to respond to any inquiry we had. A huge plus for us is EVERY amenity that was listed actually worked! Massage chair works, all the TVs worked, all the recliners in the theater room worked, the front door worked! For those of you that are new to Air BNB’s (or have done this before) a lot of times what is listed does not always work or is not always there. The neighborhood that we were in was nice and quiet. Food and shopping is fairly close at this location and there’s a nice park for families to go to. Yolanda and her home is beyond 5 stars!!! Mahalo nui loa❣️
