Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Brookline

Our daughter and our adorable grandkids live in Belmont. We usually stay with them but they had a basement flood and the room we usually use was being repaired. So we looked for someplace close and found Robin’s delightful apartment. Though we chose it for proximity, we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is lovely, quiet, comfortable and trulyfeels like a home, not a rental. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but never before have we found a pantry and refrigerator so well stocked! Robin has obviously put a lot of time, thought and heart into making the apartment a warm and welcoming place to stay. Thank you again, Robin and Jon, for sharing your special home with us.

Excellent airbnb, in a really cool neighborhood in Arlington. Thomas is a great host, check-in was easy, and everything went smoothly. Thomas even provides breakfast in the morning, which was an unexpected bonus. Its also only a short walk to many cafes and restaurants in Arlington, as well as bus stops where you can take a bus to the red line stations. I had an enjoyable stay at Thomas's house, and would highly recommend his place to others!

Caroline provides a home away from home. Everything was better than we probably expected. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. But, the topping on the cake was our hostess, Caroline. She was a delight in every way.

We absolutely loved our stay in Brookline! Grace was an amazing host, and her historic home was the perfect base for our Boston adventure. The location was fantastic, situated in a beautiful, safe neighborhood within walking distance to a variety of delicious restaurants and the public transit.

It was a lovely stay. The house and my bedroom very cosy. 10' walk from Harvard University and Red line tube stations. Deborah is a fantastic hostess: the most attentive, kind and discreet person. I felt like staying with family and I would definitely stay there again if I come to Boston. Many thanks, Deb!

Marie's organization actually books this home for Grace, the host. Grace runs an "old fashioned" bnb, with a friendly greeting as you arrive and a light breakfast featuring fresh breakfast breads and her homemade granola. We loved staying with Grace! We had plenty of privacy, a comfortable and quiet room, a private parking spot and key to come and go as we pleased. Her home is clean and safe. Grace is not intrusive at all, but she was gracious and helpful with any advice we needed during our stay. We picked exactly the right place for a perfect vacation.

Great place. Would stay again. Donnell was very welcoming and helpful. There were Bagels in the fridge!

Rosanne and I immediately hit it off. She has an adorable rescue dog. The home is stunning it reminded me of grand old homes I’ve stayed at that were professionally run bed and breakfast inns. The home is in an historic district. The neighborhood is charming. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. I really appreciated having a tub for soaking after my trail runs. I had access to all of the house and was able to do laundry. Despite having a bad neck injury and a dog who’d recently had leg surgery, Rosanne went out of her way to accommodate me. I felt so at home. I already know this area since I used to have a boyfriend in a nearby town. Dedham Square has lots of restaurants and a great old movie theater. The home is also near Legacy Place shopping center, which has the best Whole Foods anywhere. Being vegan, I’ve been to many during my business travels. I look forward to staying with Rosanne again soon.

I really enjoyed my stay with Kate. She was warm, welcoming, and reliable. She is genuinely interested in people and our conversations were wide ranging, from gardening to art to history. I can't wait to return. Kate will always be my first choice of host in the Boston area.

I enjoyed my stay at Natalie’s place. Not only is she a nice host, she is extremely responsive. The self check in made it easy to get in. I saw Natalie on my way out. She graciously offered me breakfast. Sadly I declined because I was in a rush to get to an appointment. I recommend her place!

I arrived on an unseasonably COLD night, and found Judi had turned on the bedwarmer for me! Judi's warmth was evident in every detail of my stay -- Lovely, comfy furnishings; well-thought out breakfast items; extras of anything I might need. The unit was private, immaculately clean, and had a great mattress & pillows and a good shower! The neighborhood was quiet, and also charmingly comfortable. I told Judi she was the consummate hostess, and she was! Easy and enjoyable to communicate with, but not at all intrusive. I'll definitely try to reserve with Judi the next time I travel to Boston.

This bed and breakfast was so lovely! Located in the Brookline area of Boston it’s a quick walk to the Main Street and lots of shops/restaurants. I only stayed one night for a concert and it was perfect, I could walk to the venue. Beds were comfy, my specific room you had a shared bathroom with one other room but it was super clean. It’s quiet but a white noise machine is provided, ear plugs, fans. Easy check in and I recommend reserving parking since you can’t park on the street overnight.

A quaint, beautiful and private place for a single person or couple. Everything you need to stay cozy away from home. The family above does have children so if you don’t mind hearing some noise above, all is well! The space was clean and cozy and the host was very personable and communicated well. The bed was very comfortable!

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

We absolutely adored the Rajah Room. It was a beautiful space to stay for our one night in Salem and we would definitely book again in the future!

Overall this was a very pleasant stay in a quiet location, close to restaurants and other needed services. When I come back to this area I would like to stay here again. It is a clean, comfortable, welcoming home. Also, even though I did not use it this time, convenient quick rail transportation into downtown Boston is located a 5 minute or less walk from the b an b.

Flavia’s place was a great value for the location. The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and Flavia was kind and responsive to all our questions.
