Floating Lodge off Bligh Island (Nootka Sound)

TravisRating, 5 stars8 months ago
If only the fishing had been a little better we could have spent more time at the cabin. Overall it was an awesome place to spend time, cook, talk and hangout with my Dad, Brother and Son for a week. Hope to do it again next year!

Savary Island cabin steps from sandy beach.

KirstenRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Martine's place is in one of the best spots on Indian Point! It's a 30 second walk to the beach but protected from the sun and wind that can sometimes be intense on the waterfront--we watched every single beautiful sunset. The sunset trail starts very close to the cabin and we walked it most days. The fridge and freezer are a good size for our family of 6 to be well-stocked for the week. She's got 4 working island bikes and a great SUP that our family enjoyed using. We will return for sure!

Oceanfront low bank home viewing Mt. Baker.

RachelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Thanks Carol for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful space, peaceful surroundings and a great location. Tara is a wonderful host I am grateful for her understanding, her recommendations and kindness. I would definitely recommend staying here, the high light being the bath. Laying under the stars will always be memorable ❤️

Spacious, private island retreat

TheresaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were two families staying here, with a toddler each, and loved our stay! It was a great space for the kids to run around and play (with so many toys for them too!) and such a relaxing space for us parents to be in as well. We loved the open concept design and tall ceilings and big windows with trees outside every way you looked. It was just the little bit of peaceful getaway we all needed. We also loved that there was a beach within toddler walking distance. Farheen was such an accommodating and helpful host (by message). We felt right at home and she made us feel very welcome on our first Mayne Island visit!

The Wolf Den - Jordan River - Walk to Beach.

SeikoRating, 5 stars33 months ago
We had a great stay at Wolf Den. The house is beautiful with high ceilings, huge windows, and lots of sunlight, surrounded by forest. The starry sky was amazing. I wish we’d had time to enjoy the outdoor sauna. The downstairs bedroom was very cool on a hot day. Loved the firm mattress, duvet cover, and pillows. Checking in and out was a breeze. Everything was well labeled. It was convenient to have the wine cooler. We very much appreciated environmentally conscious soaps and detergent. In particular, I loved the dish soap. Truly a unique gem.

Elora Oceanside Retreat - Side B

VivianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Elora Retreat Side B. Quiet, peaceful and the views were stunning. The suite was well equipped for our 3 day stay and tastefully decorated. Dan and Sam were very responsive. We enjoyed the private beach as well. Staying in the summer (warmer weather) would be very nice given the location.

Doe Island South

MimiRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We stayed on Doe Island for roughly 5 weeks, and had a wonderful time watching seals, porpoises, herons, stunning sunsets and beautiful starry nights. The cabin is definitely rustic, working off of water cisterns, a composting toilet, and solar/generator powered, but we were comfortable managing these. Steve was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable, bringing over more water when needed and troubleshooting when we accidentally blew a fuse. The high speed internet made it possible for my daughter to work from there with a beautiful "office" view, seeing our resident seal visit every day! The provided kayaks made it easy to toodle around the harbour, and the crab pots - thrown right off the dock - provided some great meals. Steve helped out with our arrival and departure. It is also obvious that the host is in progress of upgrading areas of the island, so some spots look more in-progress than polished. Overall, the spot is absolutely gorgeous, the host is super helpful and hospitable, but it is definitely not a hotel -- you'll need to be aware of water and power consumption, and it is fairly isolated. Having your own boat to get around is recommended if you're there for an extended stay. (You can try checking with area marinas or other nearby places to park your car.) We'll definitely be going back!

Doe Island North Rustic Home

KirstenRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Steve went above and beyond for our stay - truly a top notch host. Responsive and friendly, he made check in seamless and was on hand if we needed anything. The cabin was lovely - beds comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom sparkling. We absolutely loved the salt water hot tub (and we mean hot!) and the cozy wood fireplace when the rain came one night. Watching the porpoises, seals, otters and eagles was super relaxing, as was meandering around the harbour in our kayaks. Will definitely come back! Thanks Steve!

Rustic Mudge Island Retreat

PhoebeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
From start to finish (both via Allen's boat!) this was an extremely memorable, peaceful stay. Allen is a terrific host who made us feel at home and cared for while providing us with lots of space of our own. Mudge Island is a treasure and the space where you'll stay is incredibly comfortable with a beautiful deck and an extremely cozy bed! I cannot recommend this place enough - no doubt this the best kept secret of the Gulf Islands.
