Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Brighton

The houses managed by Christina and Historic Houseparts are truly gems in the Airbnb world. My husband and our five kids visit Rochester twice a year to see family, so we have a lot of experience with Airbnbs. I am always looking for something interesting, preferably historic, and am generally disappointed, except when we stay in these homes. It is truly a joy and luxury to be in a home that has been thoughtfully restored, decorated, and supplied without skimping. While there are aspects of an old home like bedroom doors not closing flush and awkward tiny staircases, we are willing to overlook a lot for a vacation in a cool home like this. I really appreciated the small fans in each bedroom and a really well stocked kitchen (large stockpots and mixers in Airbnbs are few and far between!). All the historic books on Rochester were exactly to our taste, too. The price point makes this stay a steal. Can’t recommend enough!!

We had a group of 16 of us stay at this airbnb. It was awesome! Just like the pictures, place was clean and we had plenty of room for the 16 of us. He careful if the driveway is icey, it's hard to get up. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This by far our favorite vacation spot! We have come here countless times because of how much we love it. Less than 15 minutes to strong museum! Neil is super responsive and listens to feedback! We asked for kids board games at the house and he was able to provide! Can’t wait to come back

Really nice place. Was perfect for a one night stay. Communication was fast and easy. Only thing I didn’t realize was how close the pool house was to the main house. Overall a good experience.

We were very impressed with Tim & Katie. They always responded quickly to our questions before our arrival and were very accommodating about our two medium dogs. The place was very clean and homey, and had plenty of amenities that we didn't realize we would need. They even had an extra dog dish, which was great because we forgot their water bowl! We already had arrangements to stay in May for RIT's graduation, and we're so glad we get to go back. Thank you, Tim & Katie -- we wish we had found your place years ago!

We had a great girl's weekend getaway at Michelle's cottage on Lake Canandaigua. It is so quiet and peaceful we just loved it. Everything was perfect...location, things to do, great restaurants, clean, warm, friendly people and beautiful scenery. What more can you ask for? I would definitely return if I was going to the Finger Lakes again. Thanks Michelle for a wonderful weekend!

I have been traveling frequently to Rochester for the past 3 months, I have stayed in different Airbnbs. But this one was spectacular, my return flight to Orlando FL was canceled and Yaroslav was very understanding and made my stay easier one more day, very clean a good place I will definitely return soon. Second time staying here, always lovely. Great location close to highland park, mt hope cemetery, bars, breweries, coffee and restaurants. Alecia is SO great at communicating, and a wonderful and kind host. I stayed over the Christmas holiday and I walked in to see a Christmas tree, fireplace playing on the tv, and adorable holiday decor. She is so thoughtful!

This home is full of history and feels so magical. From the charming antiques to the glowing candles throughout. It had such a warm and cozy ambience. This was by far the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Robin was an amazing host and so accommodating and responsive. We had zero issues during our stay.

Great host. Great place. Great location. Near old town Brockport, which has some pubs on food on Main Street. Safe area and big grocery stores are less than 5 minutes away. Good stay as usual.

Had an amazing stay at Paula’s place over Thanksgiving. The town is walkable and there are many cute restaurants to try! The place is very cozy, stocked with everything you could need during a stay. We were there over Thanksgiving and it was cold but her place was warm and cozy! Definitely go to the Greentown restaurant for drinks or local beers and amazing wings! For brunch check out Simply Crepes! Both places are just a few blocks away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a perfect getaway location. It was a quiet, peaceful place with lots of things to do a short drive away. The place was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable as well. The hosts were very responsive. Would stay again!

My family and I stayed here for about a week. The place was extremely private! The kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to cook and grill most days. Everythjng was very clean and well maintained.

Great little spot by beautiful Lake Conesus. Convenient location, the space was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few day stay! Donald was great with communication and quick to respond when we needed the heat turned on. Recommended!

We drove from NY and we arrived like 7:30 pm. I call the number on the Door office and no more than 5 min later Shelley and Mike show up to the office and help me out with the check in, and because it was dark night they direct me right to the front door of the cabin. By the way if you lucky and sky is open you going to have the best show ever…Millions of stars lightning only for you🤩 if you have change go to visit, Watkins Glen state park is one hour away but you will be loved. Thanks Shelley and Mike.

We enjoyed a nice winter weekend getaway to Camp Navarac. The cabin is exactly as pictured, warm and cozy on our arrival. We didn't take advantage of the sauna, but it looked clean and well cared for. The gas fireplace added extra warmth and ambiance for the evening hours in. Super close drive to Bristol Mountain for skiing. Stephanie and Dave were attentive via text chat, quickly responsive. Great stay!

We loved our stay! It was the perfect place for us to celebrate a special day. Great kitchen to cook in & such an amazing view. Elizabeth answered all of my questions and was very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the rest of the property.
