House vacation rentals in Bridport

What an amazing place to stay - lots of focus these days on health and wellbeing - well this place is the epitome of wellness. I normally take days to wind down from work but it happened soon after we arrived. Being able to wake up and head downstairs for a quick coffee and then open the door to the pool for an early morning swim - wonderful. Then after an evening swim, head to bed to stargaze up through the roof windows with no light pollution - bliss. Easy to get to both Glastonbury and Wells and lots of places to choose to eat (we ate lunch at The Lion in West Pennard and The Crown at Pilton - both pleasant). We were not disturbed throughout the whole stay which we found respectful (we knew Pippa was around if we needed and was was very quick to respond to our questions). Would highly recommend.

We had a very chilled 4 days at Clare’s lovely pool house. Clare and her husband are great host very friendly and helpful, the village is beautiful and quiet and the sounds of the church bell ringers practising on Thursday night was lush, the pool house is warm and cozy.

We had our annual family reunion here, and we hope to return next year as we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the place. The swimming pool was a huge plus for the younger ones, and there was plenty of room in the main house to entertain everybody comfortably. Would highly recommend for other large groups looking for a peaceful getaway. The wifi was awful, though that is not a complaint, it wasnt needed. Thankyou for an amzing weekend and we shall be back

Just had a long weekend at Melissa’s caravan. We absolutely loved it! We didn’t use the Haven site because we just wanted to explore Weymouth and surrounding areas. It was perfect for us. Comfortable, clean and homely! Thank you Melissa for allowing us to stay.

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. Ian's place is absolutely stunning. We stayed as a group of 8 friends and thoroughly enjoyed a cozy long winter weekend. The house had everything we could need and then some - comfortable beds, lovely fireplace, soft towels, plenty of space for everyone to relax, and all the kitchen/dining supplies needed for cooking big meals together. The pictures don't do it justice! The surroundings are also beautiful - we enjoyed a wander down to the beach and had lunch in the great local pub. Ian was incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible both before and throughout our stay.

Brilliant stay, couldn’t have asked for a nicer house! Great swimming pool in the garden and beautiful surroundings. Would love to go back again.

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! It was the perfect setting for our weekend away! So cosy and surrounded by amazing walks and pubs. Also James and Jane were the best - so helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Spent a wonderful weekend here celebrating a 65th birthday with our family, which including 4 grandchildren. This was an ideal venue for four households ranging in age from 7mths to 70 years. We hired a private chef for the main birthday meal and were all able to fit comfortably around Dave's huge dining room table. Would definately recommend for large families particularly if you have pets and children. Dave has set up an amazing amount for them to do in his games room and equipment in the garden.

Lovely place to stay and brilliant location overlooking the harbour . We had a peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of our normal lives . Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for some peace and quiet .

This place is such a gem for families, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt right at home and we had absolutely everything we needed and more. Rachel was such a lovely host, always responsive and very accommodating! She provided us with recommendations and researched the local area to give us details of the closest place to charge the electric car. The amenities provided at Endeavour were brilliant, the kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything you could have needed and more and lots of staples left for us to use. There were lots of games which the children loved playing with (and the adults too!!) and provided hours of entertainment for them. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and it really felt like a home from home. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we will definitely be back!

Lesley was a great, responsive host. Finding a place to cater for a family group of 9 including 3 children is alway tricky but Lesley’s house ticked all the boxes! The comfort provided along with the space was absolutely ideal and made our short break perfect. Would highly recommend Lesley and her house.

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for, a great place to decompress. Jonathan was friendly and sent clear directions. The accomodation was warm, clean and beautifully kept. We only used the pool once, but those that used it, enjoyed it. We would certainly consider a return visit.

Lovely house in a great location, just round the corner from both the high street’s local shops and the river. Would recommend the Old Granary on the Quayside which is just down the road, which is also where the Sat market is held at the weekend. The bus stop to Swanage, Corfe Castle and Poole is also close by on the high street. A trip to the wonderfully restored Rex Cinema in Wareham is also highly recommended. Julie was a great host, quick to respond to any queries and the house had all we could need for our weekend away.

This was our third stay at Weighbridge Cottage and it certainly won’t be our last. We love coming here. Tess’s house is beautiful and cosy, with everything we need and in a fantastic location to explore Lyme from. Tess is also a very hospitable host, generously leaving us with a home made batch of scones with cream and jam as well as bacon and eggs. Thank you Tess!

As soon as we walked in the door we loved this place! What a gem! The living area has large windows overlooking a peaceful valley full of sheep and chickens - a truly beautiful view to enjoy at any time of day. The house was wonderfully warm - as was the welcome by Tiffany. We felt personally greeted and our hosts could not have been more helpful. The house itself is gorgeous! Spacious and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. I had the best nights' sleep - the beds are so comfortable! The place is quiet and peaceful - you feel hidden away - yet Lyme Regis is just on the doorstep. We spent a day walking around Lyme, drinking coffee and visiting the shops, and one day just relaxing in Little Winter's Cottage. We absolutely loved the place and we will definitely be back! Thank you Tiffany - you were a wonderful host!

We have just returned from a lovely weekend celebrating my dad’s 80th. He was stationed locally in Blandford. Will and Kay’s place is beautiful inside and out. Plenty of space for us all. The log burner was amazing and kept the house nice and cozy. Would definitely recommend. It is in easy driving distance of the local attractions. Will absolutely visit again. Thankyou Will and Kay.

We had a lovely stay 4 adults 2 teen and a child and of course 2 dogs. Lots of space and so many nice walks close by. Durdle door and Weymouth also not far away. We all had a fantastic time the house had everything you needed and more!

Mark has a lovely place and we settled in nicely. It was easy to communicate with mark and we enjoyed his place. Also ideal if you are two couples for example as each room was self contained. There is also use of a garden. Thank you

Our family had a fantastic time staying at David and Susan’s lovely home in Holcombe. The spacious living area and incredible garden were perfect for us. We loved the house's location and even discovered a hidden gem - a secluded beach! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great little place in a lovely area. You can walk down the road to Lulworth Cove which is very pretty and has lots of restaurants and coffee/ ice cream shops. We liked Finnley’s for lunch. Then you can walk up over the hill and down into Durdle Door and also to Man o War beach. Everywhere is dog friendly. The Castle pub is about 50 yards from this Airbnb and the food is excellent. Make sure you book a table. The garden was nice for relaxing in. Out back there are sheep in the fields. Lovely!

We hired hill house for a hen weekend and we could not have picked a more perfect location. Peacefully set, beautiful grounds, gorgeous historic building with stunning modernised areas. It was just stunning. The pictures and the description of it were as spot on as possible but to understand the beauty of this house, you need to book and go. Joanna was amazing on the lead up to the stay, helpful and responsive. Bobby the owner was there on our arrival. She was so warm and welcoming, gave us a tour and left out 2 bottles of prosecco, cheese and milk which was such a lovely touch. I would honestly have 0 concerns about staying here again and If that opportunity arrises I will. Thank you so much to Bobby and Joanna for such a wonderful stay and experience.

We all had a fantastic holiday, it was our first time as a blended family and we all had lots of space to both interact together quiet/private time too. The facilities were fantastic for both adults and kids. Overall a great place for a family / large group and a great base for the surrounding area / south coast
