Very nice vacation spot for the weekend for families or friends very close to town

This is the ideal location for a little decompression and relaxation. I absolutely adore visiting this little slice of heaven, in Michigan. The home is filled with cute little creative touches that make you feel both at home and welcome. The view from this house is absolutely breathtaking as you look out over the water into the back yard. This vacation creates a secluded atmosphere without making you feel isolated or cut off from the world. In addition to all the amazing amenities, the hosts also take care with the furnishings which are designed for maximum comfort. The bed as well as the couch are both quite comfortable and great for just lounging around or a good night's rest. I will continue to visit in the future.

This loft was the perfect landing spot for a wedding weekend at Marblehead. It was within minutes of everything we wanted to do and see. It felt like coming back home - plenty of space to relax and so cozy and peaceful.

We loved staying here for our girls weekend. We enjoyed the local wineries and sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sunset!

The place was exactly as posted with everything that we need. I would like to book same place again for my next trip. The host is amazing and very responsive and helpful. We forgot our phone when we checked out but when we pinged Tommy in the next day, he immediately responded and returned to us.

we have stayed here before and loved it both times. The views are breathtaking. There is nothing like a campfire watching the sunset, with lake view and the sound of waves. The area is quiet and private. Jackie has everything you need to feel right at home. My husband and I spent 4 nights and hated to leave. We will be back. Thank you Jackie for a wonderful stay, and ensuring our needs were met.

We had a great time on our girls weekend! The house was immaculate when we arrived. Patricia was very accommodating and had excellent communication. Plenty of beds, and 3 showers were nice for our group of 7. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Close to cute shops/wineries. Definitely would stay again!

This unique and rare Lake Erie gem of a find came with all the pearls one needs for a wonderful stay . It was super easy to settle in with all the ease and flow of the property . The charming interior was beautiful , super clean and artsy ….. and by this I mean I was greeted by soothing music and gifties on the kitchen counter . All the eclectic and themed touches were not lost on me . At every corner I was treated to rare and inspiring design touches. I especially love the Mademoiselle and Monsieur washrooms . Too cute !!!! The owners were spectacular and were keen to check in on my comfort . Lake Erie views in the winter is memorable . I will definitely be back …. SOON . M . Popelas

We had a very comfortable stay. The home was well stocked and inviting. We enjoyed the lake view, the hot tub, and the proximity to surrounding estate wineries. We’d be happy to stay here again!

We picked this place to have a relaxing getaway and that’s exactly what it was. The sauna, heated floors, spa-like bathroom, and beautiful view made this a romantic and peaceful weekend for us. Thank you!

Mary Sue’s cottage is clean, comfortable, cozy, and charming with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the lake. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. We enjoyed biking to Ure’s for a delicious country-style breakfast, touring a local winery and brewery, and visiting several quaint neighboring towns. The Salty Dog in Amherstburg should not be missed! Another fun weekend find was the Polish Beach Club, which is a unique back-yard authentic restaurant on a private stretch of sandy beach. We wished we’d had access to kayaks or a paddle boat; but all in all, it was a lovely stay, and Mary Sue was a wonderful host!

Wow. What a place. Everything you could ever ask for. Great lay out, beautiful sunroom over looking the lake, great deck, amazing kitchen, comfy beds, super clean with great instructions for everything. Highly recommended.
