This was our second time staying at this amazing house! We love the views, the patio, and the surrounding area. Once again the stars were incredible. It was so peaceful looking out across the ocean and hearing the sound of the waves. Even though we just left we’re already thinking of our next trip back. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how cozy and convenient the living room and kitchen area were—perfect for the two of us and our dog. The space was thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The bedrooms were spacious and larger than we had expected. The property is immaculately maintained and incredibly clean. But the real highlight of this property is the view and outdoor seating area. Even though the weather was rainy, the covered seating area provided the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing nearby. It was so peaceful and truly captured the essence of the location. A huge thank you to Dena, the host, for being superb throughout our stay. Her communication was prompt and spot-on, and she even went out of her way to warn us about any potential road hazards as we made our way to the property. It was clean, spacious, and in a great location. It was a staycation for us, so the framed local prints and collection of local books really added to the experience. We loved it!

Breathtaking views! very comfortable beds, thoughtful well-stocked home, we had everything we could have wanted or needed. Excellent host/guest communication, easy instructions, hand-written welcome note w/bottles of wine. We spent the rainy days playing ping-pong, movies & puzzles, sunny days we biked & watched the sunset over the ocean from the hot tub. We watched seals on the rocks & black sands beach is gorgeous! Great local food & coffee shops. By far one of the best rental experiences we have had, truly wonderful for us in every way. Fantastic property, we hope to stay again as soon as possible!

Met family here for Thanksgiving ‘24. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve rented. There is plenty of space inside and out, it’s clean and comfortable, and there are many games/activities around the property. Very safe, quiet neighborhood. Justin was friendly and responsive. Will definitely consider coming here in summer to fully enjoy the pool and river access.

Ashley and Brenden were great communicators and hosts! This Airbnb is an amazing place. There's nowhere quite like the Lost Coast, and this is the perfect location to experience it. The house has rustic charm, but is completely modernized and extremely comfortable. The ranch is nestled in a back valley, extending seemingly forever into the back hills. There's deer wandering all over the property, lots of birds, and the night sky was full of stars. It's only a few minuted to the general store in Petrolia, which has supplies and limited groceries. Mattole Road (the Wildcat) is one of most beautiful drives you can imagine, just be very alert to potholes and uneven asphalt, especially in a low clearance vehicle. With careful driving, it's totally fine. We had such a nice visit here, and I'd love to return someday.

It was a nice place, close to the ocean! There was a lot of space, and the kitchen had a lot of spices. Felt like a cabin in the woods by the sea!
