Lake cabins in Brevoort Lake

Great spot, clean, and easy check-in. Beds/pillows in all of the rooms were super comfortable memory foam. Ice fishing was slow (likely due to the weather…single digits and high wind), but time spent in the cottage with family was great.

This property is not to be missed if you want a private, peaceful getaway on a beautiful sand beach. The weather we enjoyed was perfect and the sunrises and sunsets were beyond AMAZING!! At night, the stars lit up the sky as we sat on the beach by the firepit and just relaxed while reviewing our day. There is a grocery store and some restaurants in Manistique for food, about a 12-15 minute drive. Nice central location to explore and we were able to make day trips to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, Mackinac Island, and some other local attractions. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new, beds are comfortable with good linens, home is very clean, downstairs is cozy, upstairs is bright and light. No AC and we did have to break out the fans in the master which gets the most sunlight, but the cool nights would cool things down again. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Michael was quick to respond to all my questions. I like that there is a full refrigerator and little stove to prepare some meals. The neighbors are very friendly and the back yard has a beautiful view of the lake.

Bill is a wonderful Host. Our Family traveled from Chicago and we had a great stay! Everything about the property is very well maintained and beautiful. We would Love to visit again real soon.

Lovely location! Really peaceful spot. The lake is wonderful, and they have great access and amenities! Excellent location for going to Mackinac Island for a day trip.

The McMillan property was on a beautiful large lake. At this time of year, it was very quiet and I enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out over the lake. Very well stocked kitchen. Nice size property. Very good for long stays. I thoroughly enjoyed my time!

The only thing that could have made it better is if we could have stayed longer. Found this beautiful gem last minute for familyThanksgiving plans we had in the area. Worked out perfectly, gorgeous home and such a peaceful view. Well stocked and many helpful hints and thoughtful extras. The beds were quite comfy and a great place to lay our heads after a long drive. Will definitely be adding this listing to our favorites list and hope to return soon.

Awesome experience! Great location, clean home, beautiful views. We truly enjoyed staying in Liz's home. It was awesome to be on the water and a bonus that she had toys for our 3yr old. We stay in rentals often and these were by far the nicest beds, pillows and linens. Cannot wait to stay again.

This was our fourth stay. We fell in love with the place and visit every year. Its perfect. Its very comfortable. Super cozy. The view of the lake out the bay window is perfect. Cheboygan has a great options for food and fun. Mackinaw is just 30 min away. You could not find better hosts. I cant reccomend this place enough.

Very nice cabin! Had everything we needed and was a very comfortable stay!

My husband and I had rented the cabin for three nights. We pulled up and the place was amazing. We opened the door and fell in love. We had such a great first night. We were able to bring our 9 month old puppy, who for the first time ran into the water, ran around the woods and was loving life!! She had everything there you needed. Everything was great until around 10:30 PM and a major ice storm started. unfortunately, we had to leave the next morning ASAP but Katy was very understandable, helpful, and concerned about us being safe. It had been the worst ice storm that they had in the area in over 20 years. We were lucky we were able to get out of some of the roads because so many roads were covered with trees and live wire lines down. The place is absolutely lovely. The area is lovely. Can’t wait to go back and hopefully get a full stay in. I wouldn’t change a thing at this cabin. Tracie, Marc & George

Our stay at the Balsams Resort was truly a once in a lifetime kind of magic. We truly were mystified by the creative power & lore of artist Orr Greenlees in every inch of the cabin + property. Look into the history if you can, such a gem of a time capsule to take part in. Thank you for letting us stay & feel welcomed.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

It is a beautiful location, a great place to ice fish, a clean and tidy cabin, and the pricing was great for the weekend! Very considerate and caring, they offered my group a side-by-side to make the commute from the cabin to the lake a lot easier! Planning a trip in the summer here!

Teddy and Trella are great hosts, they were always there to help us in every situation, not just with the RV but others like the campfire, the lake and more. The Recreational Vechicle is in excellent condition, almost new; It was so comfortable and stylish, we wanted to experience how wonderful it was to stay in an RV and this place met all of our expectations. Thanks Teddy and Trella, we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the cabin. The location is gorgeous with views of the lake. The cabin has been nicely renovated and had everything we needed. Nadine was great at communicating and answering questions. Highly recommend.

The lake view is great, beautiful sunrises! We stayed during fall, & during weekdays, so it was pretty quiet around the neighborhood. Enjoyed the firepit. It's an older home, but has all the necessary amenities!

This was an amazing place to see northern Michigan. The place was clean, organized and had more than enough amenities provided! James and Dawn are wonderful hosts!

Jessica is an amazing host. There were so many extras. We loved the kayaks and canoe that they were kind enough to let us use. Spent most of our day in the water. Very clear water. Kid friendly. A zillion stars at night and coffee with the pretty Sunrise. We were ages 3 to 64 and all had a blast. We never wanted to leave. Fast response to questions. Easy check in. Easy to find. Clean. Had everything you need to cook. Many fun places near to explore. We even fished for Salmon. We highly recommend and would love to come back. You will not be sorry if you stay. Thank you Thank you
