Lovely spacious house with good views. All on one level except the living room and very well equipped. Excellent communication from Elmo with lots of local suggestions. Small problem with hot water dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Very comfortable accommodation that we would definitely revisit.

We loved our stay at the poolhouse! Check in was easy and Tom and his colleagues were always fast to respond if we had questions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the house is perfectly located near the water. We traveled with two small children and would without hesitation stay at the poolhouse again:)

The house was absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. Everything about the house was so perfect and it was very clean as well. My friends and I enjoyed the stay so much. The Host? She was amazing and very responsive. I’m definitely coming back to this house!!

We had a fantastic stay at Andre's place in Knysna. Thesen Island is such a great, central place to stay in Knysna. The house was perfect for our family, and catered for our every need. We will definitely be returning.

The Airbnb is well located and has a lot of space especially for dining with sunsets. It’s a bit noisy because of the N2, but the view is fantastic. The communication with Emile was great and she helped us with the alarm system. Thank you for everything!

we had such a lovely stay at Samantha’s place. pictures truly don’t do justice to what the house actually looks like. it’s incredibly stunning, the area is so tranquil & private and her space feels like a home away from home. additionally, Sam was such an amazing host, communicated well throughout, answered any questions we had with urgency & ensured our check-in was as seamless as possible. thank you so much, Sam! :)

We had a fantastic few days in Knysna. This house is incredible and the outside area is just amazing. From the views to the swimming pool it is paradise. Close by to everything you need and having Catherine on site is very handy. Would highly recommend.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

From booking to checkout Doug and Carla were great hosts. Doug accommodated a late check-in, helped us register with security to access Thesen Island, and took us to the property for a walk-through. The home was spotless, incredibly spacious, and had every utility and modcon you need. A pleasant surprise was the addition of a pool between booking and arrival. The outside space and boat deck make for the ultimate Knysna vacation spent on the water. The restaurants and bars of Thesen Harbour Town are a 5 min walk. We will be back. Thank You!

Our host Heinrich was more than welcoming, always reachable via chat with an easy, effective Communication and welcomed us warmly with flowers, Coffee and co. The House is simply stunning in two ways: First, it is beautifully furnished, perfectly-equipped (e. g. with Sand toys for kids, washing mashine, Beach towels, outdoor grill) and has a Beautiful architecture guided by the sea and the beach. Second: Location-location-Location. A Minute private Walk to the beach that has the prettiest Sand, is Miles-Long, only visited by locals that love a Little Chat and best chances to catch the Sunset. The Location is super safe in a gated Community and Never to worry about. We stayed with two small kids and had the best Beach days. We would Always come back, this being one of our Forever-happy-places.

Amazing stay at Corlia's place. The photos don't do it justice. Corlia was great with communication and letting us know exactly what we needed to do ahead of time. She'd also gone the extra mile leaving us some coffee and delicious biscuits at the house. We were only 2 adults and a baby and the house was perfect but it would also be great for a larger family getaway. Highly recommend! Thank you Corlia.

We greatly enjoyed staying with Wendy and James. First, Wendy and James were great hosts and when we left it was like leaving very good friends. Secondly, the location at the top of the mountain with a great view and tranquility was phenomenal. Third, the accommodation was amazing: luxurious, clean and amazing well thought out. We lacked nothing. Furthermore, the pool was great, the cats and dogs were completely cozy and we felt completely safe, in short, a place we like to recommend to other people. Wendy and James, thank you for your great hospitality!

We had an amazing stay! The location is great and the patio was a great place to gather and braai in the evenings. The furniture was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless, not to mention the amazing water pressure in the showers! The WiFi was great and never gave us any issues. All in all a great stay for families, has everything you need. Highly recommended!

My family had a great holiday. The house is immaculate, clean, comfortable and a home away from home. Leisure isle a great place for a family holiday and having a winter holiday in this house was an absolute pleasure, a cosy fire place and a well furnished house. We will hopefully come back again. Beautiful house with beautiful views of the valley. Very spacious. Great decor.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

Sinclair was great to deal with and the property was lovely. Brenton is very special so everything was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend. We had some cockroaches and Tracy helped us instantly with traps and spray. Really great host!

Beautiful views and only a short walk to the beach. Plenty of space and all the basics are available, even fresh bread for the welcome. Mornè is always available for questions.
