Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place perfect for a weekend away to unplug. All the farm animals are super friendly and the farm itself is beautiful. The place is super comfortable and quiet and has all the amenities to make you feel cozy and right at home. The only minus was that the kolkol was a bit green but that should be pretty easy to get fixed. Overall, we definitely recommend staying there.

What a beautiful place to stay. The cottage was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you would need. A wonderful splash pool and an awesome hot tub as well. A little paradise! The toiletries were a lovely touch and all the extras provided. Communication with the host was excellent and she gave us lots of local tips and suggestions.

Lovely stay, accommodation has everything you need. Felt right at home, it’s neat and tastefully decorated. Highlight is the hot tub which is always a win. The views were peaceful and serene. My kids loved the communal pool, hammock and playing outdoors in the front area of the house. Will definitely return!

We had the most wonderful stay at Rivergate. The farm is gorgeous and peaceful and if you like these sort of environments, this place is for you. Our family enjoyed the beautiful interiors and exteriors and the hot tub was an utter hit with the kids. A highlight was the fresh breakfast basket delivered every morning. The farm has lots to enjoy from kayaks and canoes for the river, walks, flower picking and more. It was such a delight and I hope we can be back for a visit in the future. Our one negative was that we unfortunately had small bats nesting in the roof of our bedroom which disturbed us in the evenings. The Rivergate family was seeing to their removal so hopefully they won’t be a bother for anyone else. It’s a rural and beautiful setting so understandably you will share space with some creatures but this did not detract from the wonderful stay here.

Absolutely amazing! The place is impeccable and caters for your every need. It was a beautiful stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the private jacuzzi and Daandre was kind enough to leave a camp cot for our stay with our baby! Thank you 🙏

Quaint little gem in the middle of an orchard, very rustic and quiet place. Had a good nights sleep, waking up with all the birds!

We had a wonderful family stay at Ontevreden. The house has everything you need and more. I still cannot get over the most amazing mountain views, and peacefulness of the farm. The hosts were fabulous and answered all of our questions, as well as accomodating our requests. Thank you for the unforgettable weekend my family that we will talk about for years to come!

What a great stay! The place was incredibly neat, comfortable, and had such a homely feel — exactly what we needed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and it felt like a true home away from home. What a magical place. Ended up staying 4 days instead of just overnight, because we were nestled in special beauty. The cottage is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. There are endless pathways to walk on everywhere, and take in all the magic Montagu has to offer. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing surprise when we arrived at Berry Guest Farm - Raspberry cottage. We had booked as a last minute break and due to the responsive host had just gone straight ahead without getting too much info. What a treat when we arrived with our 4 children. The farm is a child’s paradise with activities - from amazing zip lines, canoes that are free to use at any time, fishing, waterslides, warm pool, night time child friendly hikes with UV torches… the list goes on, but the plus is that the scenery and nature of the place makes it paradise for adults too. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, and a short distance from nature reserves with hikes, waterfalls, mountain trails and wildlife, well we were just spoilt for choice! We had no idea that the small airbnb we had booked offered all this and we will be sure to return with friends to book a few of the cottages and maybe even camp on the campsite. Note: the campsite was very close to the house but noise wasn’t an issue

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our long-weekend in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. It felt 100% like "home" with all the little comforts - there was not a single thing we could have needed that was not there. The kitchen was a dream to work in and we very much appreciated the lovely quality wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and sharp knives! We played Scrabble at the beautiful big dining table in the kitchen and we were lucky to be able to eat dinner outside on the verandah every evening. I loved the outdoor shower too! Sandy's place is incredible! After my faux pas and booking error, Sandy was extremely accommodating, helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us! Truly beautiful place and so peaceful. We cannot wait to plan our trip back and stay here!!

Lovely little farm cottage with access to a beautiful swimming pool. Basic amenities but perfect for a couple on a budget and close to the town centre.

A Perfect pocket of Heaven on Earth - Everything you need and more - Romantic, waking up to the view of mountains from your window, the beauty of the Vineyard and of course their Chardonnay is delightful. Henk was amazing - accommodating, super friendly and has great insight into the history on the region and the perfect Coffee Spots to visit. We will most definitely be visiting again!

Annies beautiful suite ticked all our boxes. Squeaky clean, spacious, great location and easy to access. Security arrangements not overdone but enough to make us feel safe and secure at all times. Spacious bathroom that is thoughtfully laid out. The suite is beautifully decorated and we felt completely at home. Great ceiling fan that kept us cool and blew the mozzies away. My friends and I had an amazing stay at Kim's Karee Cottage. The cottage felt so cosy and was styled so well. The whole place was stunning. We loved the front garden and the outdoor seating and the pool was gorgeous. It was a very peaceful weekend and I would go back every month if I could! Highly recommend!

Visited over the Easter holidays with my family. Lovely little place, my daughter enjoyed staying in the annex bedroom. Thank you Louise for a lovely stay ☺️
