Vacation rentals with beach access in Brazos River

Well equipped, comfortable, and spotless place… location is very peaceful and serene… Overall we had a great stay! Few nitpicks to note: 1. Hard to comprehend from pictures alone how low the lake is. There really is no lake access at this time. 2. Not sure I would call “private”. Hosts live upstairs and have a full view of the patio area. Not an issue for us (and hosts are unobtrusive and very friendly) but could be for some 3. I’m very picky about light bulbs so this is a personal preference, but the light bulbs are very bright white LEDs which, in my view, takes away from an otherwise warm space.

Its basically a hotel but i still enjoyed my stay

The place was great for what I needed. Dave and Val helped with everything that I needed. Kitchen is kinda small if you cook a lot but I made do. Thanks again for a great stay.

it was nice and peaceful. being there is nice even if the fish is not biting it's great place to go.

We had a wonderful stay! Sam’s place is clean and comfortable. The retro decor adds a unique and personal touch. He is a friendly and gracious host. The location is amazing — a quick, easy walk to Main Street with many shopping and dining options. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

The place was spacious and the view was breathtaking!!! Sunrise and sunsets paint the sky with beautiful colors as the sun rises and sets into the hills. There are deer everywhere. Amazing to see! Highly recommend!

Really felt at home, the beds were super comfortable. I would definitely rebook this place again if I’m in the area. Loc is also very genuine and communicative. He will always make sure everything’s good. Was no hassle getting in, he makes it easy and clear on instructions checking in and out. Really enjoyed my stay here!

if you're looking for an amazing getaway in the heart of the City, this is it. amazing little cottage with an amazing view! my girlfriend and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning

We have stayed at Terry and Katherine’s place before and as always WE ENJOYED!!! The beach front is awesome. The deck is PERFECT for watching boats, people, but for us, it was the sunrises!! The house isn’t cluttered and there’s lots of room in the living area! They allow my fur baby too which was amazing! The master bedroom was large and bed was comfy!! The kitchen had all we needed and overall we enjoyed their place! Definitely recommend to stay here! You just can’t beat the view!

Our stay was beyond exceptional . The home is like brand new , the furnishings are high end . Great kitchen space for family gatherings . Kitchen island is very large , on one end it’s perfect for meal prep and the other end it’s great for putting together puzzles . The appliances are all in great condition and perfect working order . Many independent areas for conversation , playing games , reading or watching TV. Nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the bay breezes while fishing, crabbing or kayaking or just relaxing . The kitchen is well equipped with all essentials and also include measuring cups , cutting boards , nutrabullet , knives , dish soap and sponge . Bathroom with slip proof rugs . Elevator in perfect working condition , really great for bringing up supplies and luggage . The custom golf cart makes it very enjoyable to ride around the neighborhood and enjoy the bay breezes and spotting unusual shore birds. Jeff , the host makes you feel welcome and cared for. Superb

Brad’s beach house was great! Exactly as described. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a friend’s getaway. The beach was nice and quiet too. We were able to drive right up onto the beach. Perfect little spot, overall!

If you want a great gulf coast beach experience this if your place. Great beach view and access, house is very well maintained and comfortable. The house was also well equipped. I couldn’t have been happier with my decision to stay there. I highly recommend this property.

House was fantastic and perfect for our long weekend away with friends! Super walkable to the beach and easy access via golf cart or vehicle to nearby local spots. Angie was a great host and super responsive and quick to address any issues with the house.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Up front about issue with clothes dryer and oven. Techs sent during stay to attempt to make repairs. Oven repaired but part had to be ordered for dryer. Bob sent local property management representative Rafael to help with getting windows open the evening of our arrival. Rafael was very friendly, professional, responsive and helpful. Home had some exterior issues from recent hurricane and needs some repair. Property / Home was clean, decorated and accommodating for pets. I communicated with host Bob via email / app. and text. He was very friendly and responsive. It was a pleasure communicating with him. I would stay at the properties of this host again.

A great space to be with nature and unwind. Beautiful home, spacious and light. Make sure you bring stuff to ward off mosquitos. I would book this again.

Parks dept policed beach multiple times daily and kept it beautiful. Everyone who stayed remarked on how quiet the house was. Mahagement was absolutely fantastic. Dryer stopped heating one day and was replaced by conscientious, polite crew the next day. We've been visiting Galveston for 50 years and this house was one of the best I've rented. More set up for lage families than multiple couples, but plenty of room for large families. Highly reccomend

Amazing stay! Communicative host. The apartment was pristine with lots of homey touches. We wanted for nothing and loved the peaceful surroundings. Amenities were fantastic and easy to get to. Will be back!

Amazing location and beautifully furnished. For a Moms Getaway it was perfect - quiet, lots of hiking/walking opportunities, and amenities were on point. The host also paid great attention to detail to the inside furnishings and decor, and everyone felt at home right from the start. Highly, highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Between they gorgeous sunset views from the lake to the friendly island deer that greet you when you enter and exit, this place was truly amazing. There were 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, 2 working hot tubs/jacuzzi tubs, men's and women's sauna, and lots of places to walk about. We ate at a local resurant on the lake called The Oasis which I would also recommend. 45 minutes to and hour from downtown Austin but the drive is peaceful and scenic!

This property is incredible! If you’re a family traveling with children, you will LOVE this home! If you’re traveling without kids, you’re still going to love the quiet, tranquil surroundings and welcoming environment. Our family of 9 had lots of space to spread out and live comfortably. Restaurants and grocery are not close by, but if you plan well, you’ll be fine!!

A wonderful spot for a family mini-break. The condo was clean, well-stocked (lots of pillows!), and comfortable (great a/c.) The beach is a short walk from the condo to a communal boardwalk. The beach is clean with calm water, lots of families and cute dogs on leashes. People do drive vehicles on the beach here, not obnoxiously but just a heads up. Overall a great spot!

My family and I have stayed in this complex area in another unit before so we were familiar with the area. Everything was great for a quick one night stay for my family. Love being able to walk straight out to the back and fish.

Pay less and get a wonderful waterfront view out the balcony without the cost of actually being on the waterfront. The location was perfect for getting on the beach and the area was quiet for us. The Cart was wonderful for hauling all the chairs and beach stuff close to the water. It was wonderful to have access to all the beach setups right at the condo. The Condo fit us well for our family and was extra comfy! 5 STARS!
