Beachfront vacation rentals in Braunton

Perfect location to explore the area, especially for the Maritime Festival which was right outside and a great atmosphere. Very well equipt house and felt home from home. The only thing I would say is that the floorboards upstairs are very noisy and the bedroom doors squeak so might not be the best for light sleepers, didn't bother us too much as had young children so we knew when they got up in the night 🤣🤣

We had a super time staying at the cottage with our two young boys. Nothing beats waking up with a waterside view sounds of visiting birds. The cottage was just the right size, very well appointed and very clean. We walked easily to local restaurants (try Market Street Kitchen) and pubs and John’s Deli which is the best stocked deli I’ve ever visited! At low tide there is also a fun walk on the coastal path straight from the cottage to Northam Burrows. We absolutely loved that there was a Christmas tree and decoration to greet us, as we were away from home and not able to decorate. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. A perfect few days in Appledore.

Fantastic stay at Maysmore, beautiful house with everything you need for a break away from home. Quick walk into Lynmouth village. Sally is a great host who is very responsive. We will be back again for our 3rd visit in the near future.

Always love revisiting the cottage. We’ve been continually for many years at the time of year. As the kids have grown our activities have changed during our stay, yet the cottage always accommodates all our needs

A lovely cottage in Appledore , close to lovely pubs and restaurants. The view from the garden is amazing. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom could do with a little TLC , but the shower worked well enough. I would definitely recommend the cottage and would book it again.

Incredible 4 night stay, everything about it was perfect even the weather!! Accommodation was spot on and perfect for myself, wife and our cockapoo. The place is spotless and has everything you need for a home from home. The bed is super comfy and to wake up with the view across the river is really special. Perfect location to walk into Bideford it’s about 15 minutes and the town has everything you want/need. Found a nice little cocktail bar too! There’s a great walk straight from the house ‘coastal path’ we walked for about 90 minutes on the Sunday morning. Also not to far from incredible beaches, Saunton and Woolacombe. Definitely our favourite place that we’ve stayed at recently. Host Wendy is great she gave us some dog friendly pubs and was always quick to respond. I’d go back on a heartbeat and felt so rested after the break.

Had a fabulous few days at Joshua’s place catching up with family. Comfortable cosy relaxing and perfect space for entertaining around the large table. We did not feel the need to eat out as very comfortable staying in.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. EV charger was a real bonus for us and made getting around hassle free. The apartment was exactly as described and had all mod cons, felt like home from home. Fiona was a great host and communication was great.

On arrival it was clean and tidy. Greeted with a bottle of wine and a welcome card. Lovely soft fluffy towels and a full size fridge/freezer that were an added bonus. On-site parking with a short walk from the apartment to the beach.However the walk back is not for the faint hearted as it’s up a steep hill. The use of the indoor pool from 07:00-23:00 was perfect for my daughter on rainy days. The double bed is so soft and I had the best nights sleep. Unfortunately this can not be said for the sofa bed. Luckily my 4 year old daughter was small enough to sleep diagonally on it. An adult lying horizontally would have a terrible nights sleep (as experienced by my partner) as there is a metal bar that runs diagonally through it. 40min walk to the local pubs or 7 mins in the car. I would highly recommend this for a 2 bed apartment. The views from the apartment are breathtakingly beautiful. A very enjoyable stay and memories that will last forever made. Incredible location with beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The rooms are really comfortable and the kitchen is well resourced for 8 people (dishwasher always a plus!). Really appreciated the buckets for wetsuits and the hanging lines in the laundry, lovely detail. Thanks would definitely recommend!

Just back from a lovely stay at No9 Putsborough, and wow, where to begin! The apartment is lovely with everything you could possible need and more! The little things like the welcome hamper are just perfect, the location is spot on, the pool was lovely and the communication was very prompt. We will definitely be returning and recommending to friends.

The Appartement is just perfect: Stunning views from all the bedrooms and the living area and lots of space. The kitchen is very well staffed. We loved the beach and gonig on hikes along the shore. We‘d love to come back.

We had a great few days holiday here. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic and very easy to find. The pool and gym booking process could be easier and quicker as it required planning ahead - not always easy with a toddler - but this did not detract from our stay. I highly recommend Victoria's place!

Perfect apartment for a stay in Woolacombe. We felt spoilt being so close to the beach with amazing views. The flat is equipped with everything you need and Chris was friendly and generous. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again.

We had a brilliant weekend at Azure house. Beautiful house, so tastefully decorated and very spacious. The beds were insanely comfortable, felt like we were staying at a luxury hotel!! Very short walk to the beach and great area, we would love to return!

Lovely stay in a fabulous apartment - despite the weather! Area is very hilly, but we were able to leave the car parked and everything was within walking distance. Our only small gripe was the sofa! Very comfortable, but difficult to get up from - this might have been more to do with our age (mid 60s) than anything else 🤣🤣.

Beautifully decorated house with the most incredible views. Every night (apart from 1 as it was raining), we enjoyed the sun setting over the sea. The house was really practical for our family of 3, with a fully functional kitchen, comfortable living area and two very good size bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The house is located no more than a 10 minute walk in to Woolacombe and super close to the beach. Would highly recommend the fish and chip shop in Mortehoe and the Sri Lankan curry from the beach hut on Barricane Beach. Julia was really helpful and great at keeping in touch if we needed anything. We would love to come again. Thank you for having us. x

We had the most wonderful stay in Appledore. The hosting was top notch, with prompt replies and really supportive responses to my requests, as I was travelling with a relative with health issues. The house is beautiful, everything you could need and so stylish. I have taken lots of inspiration from the interiors for my own house! And the location is incredible with a magnificent sea view and great pubs, restaurants, cafes and a deli nearby. Appledore is a gem of a village, I had not heard of it before this trip. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Edd and Andrea for enabling my parents and I to have such a special and memorable stay.

Stunning views and a good sized, clean and straightforward house in a great location. We would stay again. We stayed as a family of parents, grandparents and toddler. The rooms are actually bigger than it looks on pictures, with the major benefit being the amazing sea views, including the sunset. The house is well equipped with bathrooms/toilets and furnished simply and comfortably (ideal with a little one). We had an issue with the shower in one bathroom but the owners were responsive (and there is another shower available). A good location between Woolacombe and Mortehoe. Steep steps to front door so bear in mind if there are accessibility needs. There is parking (could be a bit tight if busy but we were the only ones there) which is a major benefit.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful property with an incredible view! The house was in excellent condition and very well looked after, beds were comfortable and rooms were nice. The open plan living space is really lovely and was a great benefit on our rainy morning! It’s very close to mortehoe and woolacombe both easily within walking distance. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our weekend away! Norah was extremely responsive and helpful. I would very highly recommend this location!
