Cabin vacation rentals in Bowstring Lake

We were lucky to have fabulous weather. We took a few pontoon rides, went to Zorbaz, did some fishing (the Sunfish were biting like crazy!), played some corn hole, and had a great bon fire. We were celebrating our Family Christmas ... so we played Christmas carols around the campfire (tee, hee, hee!). Think about it ... when was the last time you got to swim, in Minnesota, in a lake, at the end of September? The kids had a great time jumping off pontoon when swimming. We were sad to not have a sandy beach to swim from, but clearly that didn't stop us from swimming. Enjoying the water from the middle of the lake was a lot of fun. The sleeping arrangement was perfect for all of us. The cabin was beautiful and was a great place for all of us. Thanks for the great memories!

We had a wonderful weekend in December! Super clean and well kept cabin with a beautiful view of the lake! Very well equipped! We came up to ride the trails in our side by side, plenty of room in the driveway to park our trailer, side by side and our truck. Super easy access to three different trails and the forest trails. Several options for local food, connivence stores and more.

We had a lovely stay. The cabin and the lake view were gorgeous. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Thank you!

Loved everything about this place. Beds were comfortable! My kids enjoyed catching fish right off of the dock, and on the other multiple fishing spots on the lot. It was also nice to have a fishing boat to use. The cabin was adorable. Perfect Minnesota touches with the decor. We came up north to spread Nana’s ashes in Grand Rapids, and we made a vacation out of it. Memories were made here, as Nana would have wanted.

It was clean and just like the pictures shown. The view was also beautiful and Joellen was very quick with her responses!

What a cozy, comfy spot to enjoy steamy coffee on the beautiful screened in deck porch overlooking lake, fish from the dock or enjoy a bonfire at sunset on a private little beach! Quiet, clean and relaxing- a perfect getaway! We left an item at The Boathouse and Rob had it in the mail the same day! We look forward to a return visit!

This is our 4th time back …..our girls grew up vacationing at an Uncle’s cabin near Big Fork. When our granddaughters were born our daughter wanted the same laid back summer memories that she holds dear to her heart. Sandra’s place has become that “place” for our now larger family.

Where to begin… First, this place deserves 5,000 stars! The Little Lazy Lodge is hands down the best vacation home I’ve ever stayed at. The beauty of both the lodge and property were beyond divine The lodge felt like a private resort. We were able to cook amazing meals in the spacious kitchen, relax and unwind in the hot tub while it snowed, sweat out all of our toxins in the beautiful steam shower and wood burning sauna, and cozy up with a glass of wine next to the fireplace. Our three year-old had a blast playing shuffle board, taking a bath in the jacuzzi tub, and playing twister, and our dog loved running around the property and barking at all the taxidermy. Ashley is an outstanding host- extremely communicative and kind. We’re already counting down the days until our next trip! Thank you for creating such a beautiful and therapeutic experience for people to enjoy!

We stayed at the Nest with our family for a winter vacation. Although we were not lucky enough to have snow, we had an icy lake and a cozy place to hunker down for some family bonding. Hot tub was a nice treat as was the fire pit by the lake at New Year! We had enough room for our family to have own spaces as well as nice shared spaces. Games were a hit and the kitchen was fully stocked to help us with meal plans. Hosts were responsive. Would recommend 4 wheel drive definitely for winter visits. Thanks for a fun stay!

I highly recommend this cabin! It was perfect for our annual girls’ weekend—spacious with cozy, comfortable bedrooms. We loved having a large kitchen to cook and enjoy meals together, and the hot tub was such a fun bonus. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend up north!

Nathan was very responsive immediately and very helpful and very kind to help us out and a last-minute situation! he was over the top fantastic, caring and very kind! the place was fantastic close to everything we needed and was just like the description and pictures said it would be. we definitely will come back again as we truly truly enjoyed his place with all the space and the room and the games and the great beds and of course all of the beautiful views that you can see from the windows! we can't thank Nathan and his family enough for all that they helped us out with!

What a beautiful place to get away from the hustle! It was lovely in a January snowstorm, and I'm sure would be a super summer spot! There was plenty of room for our girls weekend, the kitchen allowed us to comfortably cook all of our meals in, the hottub was minimal fuss, and we were able to walk to the community outdoor skating rink! Highly recommend, and we'd love to return :)

Me and my family had great time, place was very clean and safe, if you’re looking for a beautiful and peaceful place, this would be the best place. If I have to go back to those areas again I would definitely rent it again! GREAT JOB!

Our family had a great experience at Little Buck Camp! The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of comfortable seating for our whole group in the kitchen and living room areas and the game room was a lot of fun! Maria was very responsive and promptly answered any questions we had. The property was very peaceful and private as well.

Perfect stay and perfect price for an overnight. Tiffany was very nice and easy to work with. The cabin was clean and bed was comfortable.

We had the pleasure of staying at Anthony’s beautiful home near Leech Lake, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We originally booked a different VRBO in Hackensack, but when we arrived, we found mice droppings in the beds and immediately had to leave. At 12:30 AM on Friday, we messaged Anthony to see if he had availability. Not only did he respond right away, but he also offered to let us check in immediately, aka 1AM, saving us from having to spend 1 night in an unacceptable situation. Anthony’s quick, thoughtful, & accommodating response went above & beyond. The house itself is stunning—beyond our expectations. We were up north for ice fishing & found the space incredibly comfortable & perfect for our needs. The location is great, & Anthony ensured we had everything we needed for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. We feel lucky to have found this place & are grateful to Anthony for his hospitality. Highly recommend staying here—Anthony is an exceptional host!

What a gorgeous and cozy place to stay! My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway. We enjoyed the wood-burning stove and the sauna in particular.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cabin. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The lake was peaceful and serene, great for boating on the included pontoon boat or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the lake. Our kids loved exploring the shoreline and fishing off the dock. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a tranquil family vacation.

This beautiful cabin in the woods was AMAZING! It was so cozy and well stocked with all the amenities and convenient items that could easily be forgotten when packing. There were gorgeous trails and outdoor activities! We went with our 3 adult children and their families and it fit our family perfectly. There was even a washer and dryer available for use if needed. Our kids said this was definitely a place they would like to go back to again. Jana was very quick to reply when reaching out and the check-in and check-out process were so smooth. I would give this one a 10 out of 10!!
