We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay and were blessed with the most beautiful weather. The location of the cottage was ideal and the lounge and garden enjoy spectacular views over the valley and hills. The accommodation makes maximum use of the space and is functional and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and the convenience of shops, pubs and cafes only minutes walk away made the location ideal. Parking outside the cottage was a little tricky and we were happy to use the car park at the top of the village, only a few minutes walk away. The suggested rates are minimal and can be paid online or via an honesty box.

We had a lovely few days at Rowan Tree Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and was equipped with everything you need for a confortable break. Our daughters especially loved the easter eggs in the Welcome Pack which was lovely touch for our Easter Break. Jane is a great host and very communicative from booking to check in and onwards. She also bakes a great victoria sponge :) We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

As a family we cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Sally’s place. The location is outstanding - beautiful bustling surroundings yet serene and peaceful in the house and garden. The touches inside like the enormous towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, sofa throws and plethora of cleaning items and kitchen implements was outstanding. It was beyond home from home. The bathrooms were all beautiful as were the bedrooms. The kitchen table made this a fantastic second family area aside from the living room. As a whole I don’t think the photographs do the place justice. It is so much better in person with all the lovely finishes of a beautiful modern country cottage. Well done Sally, you’ve made this a beautiful place to stay in an outstanding location. The parking is spacious and easy to get in and out. We ate at The George, Rose Cottage and the Italian next door (1530?) and all were fabulous for different reasons and occasions. Do not hesitate to book here.

Beautiful stay at Triangle Cottage - warm, inviting and cosy. The cottage is a destination in itself; as well as having an excellent trip to Hebden Bridge it was fantastic to be able to spend evenings reading by the fire with a glass of wine. It has everything you need and is in the perfect location to explore the town and its surroundings.

Beautiful surroundings in a beautiful cottage, hosted by lovely Denise and Dave, had a very peaceful and nurturing stay. The attention to detail was so very much appreciated from the eggs,milk, orange juice and bread on arrival through to the luxurious John Lewis bedding on the biggest bed ive ever slept on, it all was a joy. Thank you so very much indeed for such a great stay, hope to be back soon.

Beautiful little cottage with a great scenery, it had everything you needed for your stay. It was very clean and beautifully presented. Thank you so much for the provisions you left, it was most appreciated. There were walks to do straight from the cottage. We also walked the 3 shires head and done a walk around Winster, both had stunning scenery. Would throughly recommend and we hope to visit again.

Really great place to stay, and host. The property is very well appointed, clean and cosy. Location is amazing next to a stream and literally only 50-100 strides to the centre of Marsden village and some great cafes, restaurants and craft beer pubs, really enjoyed Peel Street social’s craft beer wall. A longer walk down the canal gets you to Zapato brewing and on to Slaithwaite. Some really good walks from right outside the property but for checking out the local craft beers and eateries, its location can’t be beaten.
