Vacation rentals in Bordeaux

This is the second time we stayed at the Sunshine House and would be back in December if it wasn’t already booked. Robin was very responsive and the house was as lovely and well-appointed as ever! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

First off, I have to say, that Deniece was an excellent communicator. She responded quickly to any questions I had and I appreciated that immensely. It gave me great confidence ahead of our stay that she was indeed a super host and that our stay would be lovely. Upon arriving and throughout our stay the home not only met, but exceeded all of our expectations. The home and waterfront property were absolutely beautiful and everyone in our group was extremely happy. There were many nice touches, such as fresh bouquets of flowers, fresh cookies and scones, and wine with chilled glasses. The kitchen was very well equipped. You don't need to bring a thing! There were also plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Our granddaughter especially loved the Children's garden and we spent lots of time playing there. We all loved sitting on the deck and on the porch enjoying the beautiful waterview and sunsets. We will without a doubt, stay there again. Thank you so much Deniece and Rich!

Such a charming home! We loved it! Traveled with three small kids who loved kayaking, fishing, throwing rocks in the water, running down the big hill to the water, the books in the kids reading nook and exploring the local parks/beaches. It’s very quiet, no road noise. Amazing view of mt. Rainer on a clear day and expansive views from almost all rooms. It’s an old house from the 1930s with a lot of the original old house charm but modern amenities have been updated to make it comfortable. Cathy was very kind and responsive. Thank you!

This property was clean, organized, and had every amenity we needed for a little family getaway. The hot tub was such a treat, and Mount Rainier was just a short drive away! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at the lake house and will treasure it for the rest of my life the times that I spent here. Jennifer was a great hostess and was always in communication and helpful when I kept extending my time she always granted my request and was very easy to get along with and helpful and very very cool lady.

We had a great 3+ days at the Maple House - the space was lovely and thoughtfully designed and stocked. We especially loved how well stocked the kitchen and bathroom were - well beyond the norm. Thank you Adriana! The only minor issue for us was that the fridge-freezer’s ice-dispenser never worked, despite our efforts. We would gladly stay again, Maple Leaf is a wonderful area of Seattle, close to everything.

Sherri's home, especially the interior, is beautiful. Her communication with us from well before we were to arrive, throughout our departure was great. She has provided written details in a book in the home that covers instructions, the area, recommendations, etc. She is very thorough and articulate. I would recommend that you read the rules, prior to booking to ensure you can meet expectations especially if you plan on having visitors or overnight guests. Your rental fees could be affected. We have stayed at many Airbnb's over the years and Sherri's home is one of the nicest. The area is very peaceful and relaxing. A golfcourse and cafe is nearby. The town of Shelton is relatively close, about 6 miles, and has many restaurants, a variety of stores. Very easy drive. There are many lakes within a short driving distance. I recommend Sherri's home to anyone looking for a wonderful house in a relatively secluded, tranquil area but read the rules first. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
