Cottage in High Peak
4.87 out of 5 average rating, 503 reviewsHOT TUB Luxury Converted Barn
We booked Scott's place last minute as a Christmas getaway to see the family who live locally. The plan was to cook Christmas dinner and just generally enjoy time together. What a house to do just that! From the outset, Scott responded quickly and was super helpful with a flexible check in and clear instructions. On arrival, everything was as described, easy to find, easy access to the house and then we went inside.... immaculately clean, furnished to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings, mood lighting and so comfortable. The bed was very big and super cosy and the choice of things to watch on TV was endless. The house has underfloor heating and was toasty warm on a cold December night. The hot tub was quite a treat, lovely hot water and the outside area was exceptionally tidy and well maintained. I cannot recommend Scott's barn conversion enough and will definitely return should we be in the area again.

We stayed here to celebrate a 30th birthday right before Christmas. It was beautiful. There was a Christmas tree that made it more festive and we just felt right at home. It was so cosy! The Host was super responsive and we will be returning! Highly recommend 🌟

We loved our stay at jacks cottage! It was exactly how it looked in the pictures, the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was a great addition ( already set up & easy to use) & we enjoyed being able to walk from the cottage to the stunning curbar edge! Great location, and beautiful interior as well. We would definitely recommend to any of our friends looking to stay in the area!

We’ve just returned after an amazing weekend at Thirkelow cottage. There were 8 of us celebrating a birthday. The property is amazing, lots of space and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of little extras. The main room was a fantastic social space! We asked lots of questions before we arrived and Esther always responded within an hour. Definitely would revisit, highly recommended 😀

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Cottage in Chapel-en-le-Frith
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 196 reviewsTraditional Cottage on a Working Hill Farm
We stayed for a weekend in late November. There was a bit of snow which made the track up to the house challenging (probably needs 4x4 in that sort of weather but would be fine for any car otherwise). The location is amazing and the views are fantastic. It really is in the middle of nowhere (in a good way). We loved the house and spent a very fun couple of nights there. Jill and her husband communicated well and were happy to take calls with random questions.
Cottage in Tideswell
4.99 out of 5 average rating, 107 reviewsSpecial place for couples or small family.
An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Cottage in Bakewell
5 out of 5 average rating, 201 reviewsRocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat
A fabulous cottage in a beautiful location. Hidden away in the countryside but within easy reach of several places to visit. It was a true home from home with everything you could need for a relaxing break away. We didn't use the kitchen other than for breakfast and an evening cuppa but it was well equipped and could easily have been used to make a more substantial meal. The lounge area was comfortable and very cosy with the woodburner. Plenty books and leaflets to help you plan your stay. The bedrooms were huge with a comfy bed and a super view from the main bedroom window. Each had their own en suite too. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed by some delicious warm home made brownies! Rachael and Gerry as hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They are only next door if you need them and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back, in the summer next time so we can make more of the surrounding area and its walks.
Cottage in Wildboarclough
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 162 reviewsBlack Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough
We had an unforgettable week at the Black Cat Cottage. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and made a couple of great walks starting right from the doorstep. We had lots of snow, some really nice sunny days and the grand final: storm Bert. Under all circumstances, the cottage was a warm and welcoming place to come home to. The cottage is close to the farm, but is still very private. Chris was very friendly, helpful and relaxed, also under all circumstances. Hera and Hector were very, very sweet, and we loved Hera’s antics in the snow. In short: we highly recommend this lovely place if you want to get away from it all! Some friendly (November) tips: Bring enough food, just in case of snow and road closures Dry and clean firewood is available at a nearby gas station in the direction of Buxton. And yes, you really do need a 4x4 to get to or from the cottage in snowy and icy conditions 😉
Cottage in Youlgreave
4.98 out of 5 average rating, 120 reviewsWest Croft, the Relaxing, Quiet, Homely Cottage.
Our party of 3 couples really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped and the lounge very cosy, with enough comfy seating for us all. Youlgreave is a beautiful village with many options for walks directly from the house. Communication with Simon and Jen was excellent and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a great base from which to explore this beautiful area.

We had a great weekend in Helen’s very nice cottage. The fact it was decorated for Christmas also made our stay more enjoyable. Helen is a very friendly proactive host, who makes a real effort to make you feel welcome. Those touches make a difference. We certainly hope to be returning again

Amazing cozy place, only stopped overnight but could happily have spent longer, everything was spotless, Nice homely touches and plenty of space to relax with comfy sofa and chair, kitchen very well equipped, spacious bathroom excellent shower in large cubicle. Very comfortable bed in large bedroom. Garden area looked lovely though weather wasn’t great so didn’t go out. The cottage was tucked away off the high street but was very private and a bit of a wow factor when we opened the gate!
Cottage in Winster
4.91 out of 5 average rating, 163 reviewsDelightful old stone cottage
Headlands Fold is a lovely cosy old cottage in a beautiful village. Rod the owner was helpful and welcoming. The cottage has everything you would need, it is very comfortable with some low doorways to watch out for, if you are tall. The beds were comfy. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and biscuits. It is a quiet spot with walks straight from the door. There are two great pubs with open fires serving food in the village and a community owned shop. There were three of us and it was a good size for us. Any more and it would be tricky to deal with wet coats and boots. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
