Beachfront vacation rentals in Bolivar Peninsula

My daughter and I stayed at this adorable house for a girls’ Galveston weekend. We just loved it. So cute and decorated so well. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and 3 blocks from the beach and close to the action. What a delight!!!!

Great house, lovely location. Nice and close to downtown Galveston, easy to access grocery and other needs. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked quite a bit. Beds were extremely comfortable, communication was great!

We had a great time at this nice beach side property. It was very clean, spacious and had great ocean views although it was not a beach front property. It felt very safe in the nights. The walk to the beach was short (just about 5 mins) and there is also a private access to the beach. We enjoyed the bbq grill. Overall, the stay was awesome and we wish we had stayed longer.

Location, location, location. This was perfect for us to spend time in both Galveston and Freeport. The peace and privacy of this place were perfect. Just a few steps to the beach it was great. Melanie and Daryl

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and in an excellent location. We loved that we could bring our dog and that there was a fenced yard. We definitely plan on returning in the summer. It was such a relaxing stay that was very much needed.

This was a perfect setting for a small gathering for my family. The home was nicely appointed and very clean. The fire pit was so fun to cook hotdogs and the beach was divine!! We are looking forward to a return next year, thank you Matt and Jenna!

Great house steps from the beach. Something to note if traveling with a group the upstairs is a loft and the noise from the kids room upstairs travels. Host was friendly and helpful. A couple of minor issues that would make it a nicer stay but overall great for our family getaway.

This was the perfect location for our son's 17th birthday weekend with 3 of his friends (& my husband & me). Close to the beach and fishing pier, the boys had a great time. I enjoyed the perfect beach decor and cleanliness. It was perfect. Host was super communicative and responsive. 5 stars!

Mary's place was a really great value and was perfect for what we needed on this trip. We liked being able to watch our teens from the balcony and they liked being able to walk to the beach on their own. It felt very safe.

My family enjoyed our stay at the beach house this week for spring break. We eagerly anticipate our next visit. Molly provided exceptional assistance and responded to my numerous inquiries in a timely manner.

Angie’s place was great and exactly as described. The exterior of the complex could use some TLC but her unit is perfect. We enjoyed the view from the balcony for evening drinks and morning coffee. We were only there for two quick nights but it has everything you would need for a full week beach vacation. It was lovely and we will probably be back as our daughter is based in and out of Galveston on Carnival.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Place was beautiful. View is amazing and the spa was great. Has everything you need with extra. Very well stocked.

We had a fabulous time at the Dunes! We’ve been to several AirBnB’s across the country, and our whole family really enjoyed this one. It was easy, fun, convenient, and right on the water! The hot tub and amenities were top notch. Hosts were responsive, kind and helpful. Sleeping was comfortable. The beach access is a differentiator! Incredible being able to walk right out to your own beach. We would come back!

We had a fantastic stay. The pool was great to have and was very private from any neighbors. The home has a lot of great dining options nearby which we enjoyed. The house was beautiful and was a great place for a family vacation.

It was a great house great stay very clean close to convenience stores beach not too far. It was great. granddaughter enjoyed it very much. Had a great spring break.

My family had a wonderful vacation! Everyone said this was their favorite beach trip. The layout of the house was perfect, we loved the huge island in the kitchen for preparing meals and eating, the view from the porch was my favorite part and the house was very clean. Most of the time, we had our own private beach! It was so relaxing.

Mark’s place was perfect. We had two young kids and an elderly dog with us. Being right on the beach was amazing for us so we didn’t have to load everyone up in/out the car. The patio was beautiful. Place was very clean and simple - had everything you needed and more. Will definitely be staying here again!

Stephanie's was flexible in accommodation and easy to communicate with on top of that Stephanie's beach house was in new condition the HVAC, electrical.plumbing, appliances tv, wi-fi. worked great! The views where amazing from the house. This is a great diamond of a place to stay and I will tell my friend's about her place and when returning to Crystal Beach I will book up again at Stephanie's beach house!

The mermaid Manor was everything me and my family expected and more . Very peaceful private and spacious home. Loved the fact that the home was right behind the beach. The host was very responsive. Quick to reply back to any questions I had and making sure we enjoyed are stay . Perfect getaway for the entire family.

Amazing stay! - The home is exactly as advertised - The host was proactive and responsive. We will 100% book again and can’t thank our host enough. Hoan went over and beyond and we can’t thank her enough.

My family really enjoyed our stay! Right on the beach, roomy and comfortable. The deck was a good place to hang out with my grandkids and enjoy some crawfish!

This home was beyond beautiful. My family and I enjoyed such great intimate moments. This was by far the perfect place to have my brothers engagement surprise. Although, we had a few hiccups after our stay. Which really affected me emotionally. I’m happy to say we got through the rough patch. Gabriela was very helpful and very generous and understanding throughout our entire stay. She was by far the sweetest. I hope to stay again in the future!

The Purple Palm was exactly what we were looking for and so much more. We enjoyed how close it was in proximity to both the beach and the bay. We loved that we also had 24 hour access to the fishing area located within the Terramar Beach community. The host, Brandon, was very responsive and helpful anytime we had any questions. We will definitely be booking with him again the next time we visit the area.
