Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

We stayed for 2 days and it was very comfort stay. The house is well decorated and equipped with all required amenities, the best part of the house was the glass shed in living room with chimney that has added the wonderful experience in the evening to chill out and relax, I would like to thanks to service staff they provided exceptional service and was just a call away. The caretaker family of Mark did wonderful job and the food they cooked was of best quality & taste. Overall value for money and worth spending time at this property.

We absolutely loved Skyridge cabin, a beautiful little hideaway, nestled in the mountains of Nuwara Eliya. Dana is extremely friendly with impressive interests and hobbies. Be sure to ask him how his Everest training is coming along. The hideaway isn’t within easy walking distance of restaurants, so Prava who lives just a stones throw away will cook you anything you like, and she is a truly great cook. If you need anything, Dana can usually get this delivered to you. The cabin itself is very unique, a real one-off experience. The climb to the cabin would not suit somebody with mobility difficulties and can be a little slippy when wet so make sure you have shoes with good traction when you arrive and leave. The surrounding villagers are very friendly and both Dana and Prava went out of their way to make us comfortable. If you’re visiting nearby tea plantations, make sure you talk to Dana first and he can let you know the best places to buy tea. Would 100% recommend Skyridge Cabin.

Our stay at the Treehouse in Ella was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The place is made entirely of wood and gives you that authentic treehouse feel - it’s cozy, rustic, and perfect if you’re looking for something unique. It’s about a 7-minute ride to the main happening spots in Ella, and the hosts can easily arrange tuk-tuks for you. The views from the treehouse are absolutely magical, especially when the mist rolls in and covers the mountain tops. You can even spot the train passing by in the distance, which adds to the charm. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The bathroom didn’t have a jet spray and the door couldn’t be locked, which was a bit inconvenient. There were also no curtains on the front glass door, which compromised a bit on privacy. Still, the charm and uniqueness of this place made it worth it - it felt like a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Definitely a stay to remember!

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

The A-Frame is the perfect stay for Ella. It was an absolutely ideal location, just a bit out of the tourist-y area of the town but still walking distance - and with lovely views of the mountains. Shan was a legend! and very eager to help with his tuktuk which made check in easy. The ability to walk down the train tracks to and from town made it very easy and the trains passing by was a great novelty. Highly recommend!

It is a lovely tree house, very beautiful location. Very neat and clean too. Host was very helpful and friendly. Only problem was we had to walk on a stoney road to reach the stay. It is a bit far from road. Overall it was a great experience and the morning view was totally mesmerising. I highly recommend this place.

This place is perfect for hikers, surrounded by the Teeberge. The view was breathtaking. Ragu was very accommodating and even brought us food to the cabin. We had to leave one night earlier and the costs were refunded to us.

Home away from home ! A family home built to showcase Sri Lankan ancient architecture provided with all the luxury you are looking for a very comfortable stay ! All the rooms and other areas are very spacious. Cleanliness is maintained to the highest standards. Communication with the host is very easy. Delicious food prepared by the caretakekers (two lovely mothers) was so nice. Our group will remember the motherly care offered by the caretakers with all the fond memories of Badulla. We will recommend this place for groups looking for peaceful, comfortable, safe and lovely accommodation in Badulla. Marina Primali
