As a former Gouwenaars, we are of course curious about this place. Often cycled by with the kids. Was that the painter's storage room there? It has become a perfectly renovated house, with all the comforts and in a great place. Compliments, Henk.

This place is really nice. Beautiful house and surroundings! The pets (chickens and rabbits) are trustful and sweet. Contact to the owners was nice, fast and friendly and got a big list of how everything works and recommendations for activities. We really liked the stay and cannot find anything bad about it. Big recommendation!

Wonderful central location, lots to do locally. Property is typical of a 130 year old construction, you get a real taste of local culture. The stairs would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, otherwise a wonderful ‘quirky’ experience. Ans place was magical, a real treat. Thank you.

Jacqueline and Michiel's place is very clean and tidy. For a long fishing weekend from Friday to Sunday, we - the three of us - lacked nothing - the essentials for cooking and for a coffee in the morning. For our feeling, the accommodation was only missing longer knives, e.g. for chopping herbs while preparing dinner. Nevertheless, we can 100% recommend the accommodation, as the location on the directly adjacent canal is very quiet and relaxing. Just the thing to start on a long fishing day or to relax in the evening. :)

We enjoyed our holiday in this peaceful location which is surrounded by nature. comfortable bed and sofas. Like the modern kitchen appliances. Recommend the nearby town of Oudewater which can be reached by bicycle.

You can come to this home without a second thought. Responsive and welcoming host, beautiful and peaceful setting and halfway to Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Great if you plan to visit multiple cities! Recommended 👍

After I made my reservation I immediately communicated with the hosts. However there was no response. I was a little concerned as I was soon departing for the Netherlands and I have not heard from them. I called the contact number provided on the listing & spoke to Willem. Upon arrival at the property, I had a friendly welcome by Willem, the host. He was kind enough to allow an early check-in due to my early arrival in Amsterdam. The acomodation was spacious, clean and homey. It provided all the necessities needed. The place is in a farmland surrounded with nature. Situated adjacent to the water, swimming ducks, & swans were a familiar sight. Across the distance, were cows, sheep, horses. Beautiful surroundings, it was quiet & secure. It provided me comfort for one month of my stay. There was free parking outside for my rental car. Willem & Anja were kind and friendly. They made sure my stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend this place & would consider staying here again.

Very comfortable place in a quiet and peaceful area, which is great for long walks and bike tours, but is also within short driving distance to important attractions in other towns and to the beach. I can only recommend staying in Pieter and Saskias logde when you intend to see as much of the Netherlands as possible and at the same time look forward to a relaxing stay in this wonderful accommodation.

My partner, our dog and I stayed at Helen and Corné’s place for 2 nights when visiting Utrecht and the surrounding area. Their home is beautiful and we settled in straight away. The rural home has lovely parks and walks on the doorstep, with Kastel de Haar a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Utrecht is about a 30 minute drive. We’d definitely stay at Helen and Corné’s place again. We wish we’d stayed longer!

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. One of the few airbnbs that is better than the photos! The view cannot be beat. Marina was a lovely, gracious host.

Had a great weekend! The room was very cozy and cozy. The jacuzzi was amazing, perfect temperature and well sheltered between the greenery and the atmospheric lighting. We really enjoyed it! The accommodation is located in a beautiful area, outside the hustle and bustle of Leiden where you are in no time.

We felt more than comfortable and enjoyed the time we were allowed to spend there. Anja is a very warm host and gave us great tips on how best to drive to Amsterdam. Thank you so much for your effort and great location.

The apartment we rented is not that of the listing because it was occupied and Mieke offered us another one. It is a very nice apartment with a well-designed terrace with all the necessities for cooking. Great location for visiting the area. Recommended.

The apartment is ideally located in the heart of Gouda. The check-in was easy and the contact with the host very friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy. I recommend this place for a weekend trip to Gouda.

Really great place! Gouda is such an underrated city and I highly recommend it to anyone. The Airbnb was super modern and clean. Really quiet at night. The bed was cosy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The host was also super responsive and very accomodating!!
