Vacation rentals with lake access in Blue Ridge Mountains

The house is a great stay and the host is fantastic! Kristen is very responsive, helpful, and even offered to extend our stay at a reduced rate. The house is right on the water with an amazing dock. The community is gated and has great amenities--we enjoyed the playground and the hiking trails. Definitely beats any hotel in the area!

Phillip’s place was awesome! The area was absolutely beautiful and the house was extremely clean! I can’t wait to book this place again and bring my kids!

Jessi’s Air bnb exceeded my expectations! The house its self was beautiful, and the inside was very well kept up! The back deck made the perfect lounging area, as well as the boat dock! We enjoyed lots of sunshine at the dock! Jessi’s communication was amazing, checking in on us, keeping up to date and her response time made questions answerable within minutes! The location of the house is 15 minutes from restaurants which made it very accessible! The house is perched back into a cove, which made it very peaceful and relaxing! I would highly recommend Jessi’s air bnb!

We we're looking for a place to unwind from the Christmas holiday season. Ross's place gave us just that. The cabin was quite and right on the lake for some much needed RnR. There were beautiful sunrises and sets each day. We explored one of the local wineries, breweries and a few of the local restaurants. We hope to return over the summer months to enjoy the lake and activities the area has to offer.

We are just getting home and already looking to see when we can book our next trip. The place was more perfect than we could have ever imagined and Cassie was simply THE BEST!! We ended up being snowed in and being "stuck" at the cottage for a couple of days....and it was just dreamy. The view was already breath taking but adding the snow...man. Simply Beautiful. The location is perfect if you are planning a trip to Blue Ridge or Helen....or hit up both because you will be close enough to do so.

A great place to stay with friends or a family. The house itself has a good set up for spending time with people. The view of the lake also has a view of the side of the neighbors house, but it still 100% worth the price

Very cozy. We loved the decor and the location. We stayed in a lot, and with six adults, we never felt cramped or like we were getting in each other's way. There is plenty of seating for everyone in the den. We played games, cooked, watched TV and movies, and enjoyed the fire pit and the deck.

We were so happy to be able to book this place on such short notice after having our original stay at another lake house cancelled by the host at the very last minute when we were already on the road traveling with our small children and friends. Tony was very accommodating and made what would have been a ruined trip very nice and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

What a charming, quiet getaway! We were busy with our daughter, and it was lovely to know that we could be in a quiet space when we were through being "busy". Everything was perfect. We walked the lake several times. The area is very familiar to us, and our purpose was not sight -seeing, so it was nice to have a homey place. Nicely decorated. Comfortable furniture. 5 stars!

Our family including 2 dogs stayed at Irene's place in January. We needed to escape for a few nights. Since it was the off season at Lake Anna, it was very quiet and peaceful which is what we were hoping for. We had dinner at Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse which is open all year. Dinner and drinks were also amazing!

I stayed at Tom and Christine's for a couple nights at the beginning of a longer trip. The space was clean and very nicely decorated with well-cared for furniture. It was cute, homey, and private. Everything worked and it was very clean. I didn't get a chance to meet Christine, but I did meet Tom briefly and he was very gracious, helpful, and kind. The lake the house is located on is peaceful, and I wish I'd had an opportunity to take the canoe out! I highly recommend this cozy place, and I'm thankful to have found it.

Rick and Judy were communicative and warm from the very beginning! There are signs posted everywhere which I especially appreciate. This place has everything! Lovely hosts, washer/dryer, dishwasher, tv, large walk-in shower, fire pit, and amazing views right on the lake with all of the toys one could ever wish for!! Rick mentioned that many people that have visited have even purchased homes and become neighbors! I believe it’s the highest amount of synergy between a guest and host that I’ve ever heard of. We hope to return in the warmer months to experience all the lake has to offer.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about these hosts!! I absolutely love the unit and it is so perfect!! The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous as well!

Staci and Tricia's place is so beautiful, comfortable, and clean - and there are such lovely views of the Lake from this lofty apartment! The neighborhood is peaceful and a great location for walks around the lake or a short jaunt to the stores nearby. The decor is elegant and has everything you could need. The king bed was so comfy and has very nice linens - which gave me such a good night's sleep every single night. I am very impressed with this very special place and would definitely stay again.

This Air BnB is in a lovely residential neighborhood with easy access to I-40 and anything you need in the RTP area. Traveling with my dog this was a great site because we could take a quick walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery. The apartment has what you need a stay with plenty of space for 1 or 2 people. Brianna was a great host and a good and responsive communicator. I would readily choose to stay here again. Thanks, Brianna.

Great cottage stay near Summersville Lake. Beautiful pond in rear of property to sit and enjoy viewing while having my morning coffee. Easy walk to Fat Eddie's for the best ice cream. Just a couple minutes drive to the boat ramp, walking trails, restaurants, etc.

Great place got a whole little cove to yourself. Nice hot tub as well. All amenities listed were there. Had everything we needed, she even reached out and told us to be careful because the roads were bad at the time. Super nice and responsive host!

My family and I had a great time at Kay's place! We especially loved the variety of kitchenware. The view of the pond was also a favorite of everyone's.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, the space was immaculately clean, and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Can only highly recommend Anne’s spot. It would be our pleasure to visit again in the future.

This home by the little lake near Toxaway was a PERFECT peaceful getaway for my whole family! It’s so quiet and cozy, and we felt right at home. The house layout was great for our family: a couple with a teen, preteen and two dogs. The house has a great view of the small lake, and we enjoyed the canoe and kayaks on the water. So calming! We also had a fire in the fireplace each night and loved it. The kitchen is adequately stocked, and if you’re staying here, definitely bring some food. Restaurants aren’t super close, and the closest (affordable) ones were not the best. The location to lots of trails, waterfalls and Mountain View’s was awesome!!! We also appreciate allowing pets! Our pups had a great time on the trails with us. The games at the place are great, too!

I has such an amazing stay at this Lake house! It was so peaceful and serene. I loved being able to sit out on the deck overlooking the lake. I also enjoyed the fire pit! The master bedroom/bathroom was spacious with a beautiful view. I like that it wasn't too far from downtown. I was able to have groceries delivered and uber to nearby restaurants. I highly recommend.
