Great place to stay with friends and family. Great backyard with tons of things to do super fun.

My family and I made ourselves right at home here! Beautiful home that accommodated everyone!

This was our 3rd stay at the manor. Just as always, Pete was very helpful and made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Depending on availability, he has been able to grant us an early check-in and late check-out when we requested them in advance. Pete is continually updating, renovating, and adding new things to the location. He even gave us a list of some updates coming in the future. The location is huge and has plenty of areas for lounging. We always enjoy our stays here, and we can't wait until the next time we can visit.

We loved our stay. The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was easy to find and checking in was simple. All the appliances were very new looking and well maintained. The furniture was clean and comfortable. There were even some treats waiting for us when we got there! Would recommend!

Our stay was a girl’s weekend- mother and daughters. The home was perfect for relaxing and visiting. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed watching the barges and birds. The beds were very comfortable, too. If we’re in the area again, we’d definitely choose this home.

We love these homes. They are comfortable and lovely surroundings. Close to family- so thankful to have such great spaces to stay when in town!!!

We had the best time in Bloomington, and Michael’s place was a great home base. We were there for a concert at The Palace, and we were able to walk there! We really enjoyed Bloomington’s Main Street shopping and food. Michael’s was clean, cozy, and met or exceeded all my expectations.

Kim was a fantastic host—very proactive and communicative, which made everything incredibly smooth from start to finish. The place is perfect for one or two people—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for both cooking and relaxing. The TV had plenty of options, the furnace kept us warm during chilly nights, and the hot water worked great. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made for a really restful stay. Access was simple and check-in was seamless. Overall, an excellent value for the price. I’d absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in Springfield. Thanks so much, Kim!

I loved this place, it was within walking distance of almost all the historic places I wanted to go to and was a beautiful and clean. It was very nice to stay in a house that was special in its own right. Parking was great and free, and I appreciated the pride flag outside, it made me feel pretty comfortable with who I was giving my money to. I unfortunately did have some issues with the jets in the bathtub, but the hosts were kind about it and promised to look into it before the next guest. The entrance stairs were a bit disappointing as they were a servant’s staircase instead of the grand one inside, but I was satisfied to wander around a bit on my own to see the rest of the house. It would be really cool if there was some more information about it around or someone there to talk to. I did not order breakfast, but the options did look interesting, though unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to order any drinks. Otherwise it was great and I would gladly take another trip here!

The place was very clean, comfortable, and as described. Alan and Karissa were extremely fast to respond and resolve a few small issues and questions we had.

Great location for seeing the Lincoln historical exhibits. We loved being in this historic building. The house is so beautifully maintained. Our suite was a blend of contemporary and vintage. Bed was comfortable, bathroom lovely. Living room comfortable. Used the kitchenette for light breakfast in the morning. Must be able to navigate steep staircase to second floor. Would love to return during summer months and use the lovely outside space.

We had a great time! Megan’s lodge is very private and the dock was beautiful! The only thing we didn’t realize is we needed to bring our own grilling tools so we had to run out to Dollar General for that. Otherwise this was perfect and such a cute place.

We rented this spot because we had a family wedding near by over a weekend. This was the best choice for our family of 7, we fished, swam, floated and used the slip and slide and weren't ready to leave. We are even talking about renting it again for a cousin weekend next summer. We had asked ahead of time if we could check in a bit early because we were flying in and the host said that was fine but we didn't end up needing it. This is a great place to stay, lots to do!

Overall, it was a an easy check in process and clean property. No concerns with my 1 night stay.

Cabin was cozy, quiet and peaceful! Great location for nature, relaxing and out of the city! Had a great time looking at all the various decor places. Easy to find and enjoy all it had to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL. It was such a comfortable, cozy place to spend a few nights. The hot tub and sauna lived up to expectations and rhe game room in the basement was so fun. Everything was exactly as described and Kristin was such a helpful host. The entire experience was wonderful. Would definitely book again!
