This nice, comfortable and relaxing cottage is ideally located in the golden circle in the South coast of Iceland. It's a great location to see the Northern lights /Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right. The cottage is one area and has double bed (160x200cm) and a sleeping sofa. We provide linen, towels and soap etc. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have a baby crib and high chair for your children. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

This luxury house is located in a beautiful private place in the middle of the Golden Circle. Enjoy the northern lights without any light pollution. We want great comfort for our guests, all beds are with high quality bed linens from Lin Design. The kitchen is well equipped. The terrace is equipped with furniture and a Weber gas bbq. A small river with trout fishing is nearby and our guests are welcome to fish (included). We have a lot of horses and guests are welcome to take a look.

Cozy house by the river Hvítá. There are comfortable beds and the kitchen has all equipment you need. The wifi conects to a smart-tv , the tv has an open account for our gests on amozon prime tv also you can login on your netflix acount or just youtube. Free washer and dryer. The scenary is beautiful and picturesque. The house is in the middel of the golden circle and is a great place to stay and be clouse to all the biggest attractions in the south part of Iceland.

Small cottage in amazing landscape

Small cottage in south of Iceland. Only 30 minute drive to many of the most amazing nature resorts on Iceland such as Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir. Built to be a family guest house but has taken the role of being some-sort of a romantic get-away for newly weds and people celebrating wedding anniversaries....Funny how things change :D The house includes; Bed, sofa bed, kitchen tools, 4G wireless internet, hot tub and much more(see pics)

We stayed here with 8 people for Christmas and it was beautiful! Great space to gather and spend time together. A relatively close drive to many attractions, and a very clean space. The hosts are so friendly and were responsive to our (many) questions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting with a large group!

We stayed at Hallfrìður’s place at the end of September and all I can say is wow! The space was amazing, we chose to mainly self cater and the lodge was kitted out with everything we could possibly need. It is situated in a small, quiet town with stunning views and the location is perfect for the likes of the Golden Circle, Secret Lagoon, snowmobiling at Gullfoss and snorkelling at Silfra. A fair drive from Reykjavik but having visited Iceland before I knew we would be doing the above activities so the location for us was perfect. Hallfrìður was a great host, she gave us clear instructions on how to get to the lodge and met us there to explain how everything works, very responsive throughout. To top it all off we got some amazing views of the Northern Lights from our front door! A truly special holiday!

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

We absolutely adored this placed. It was the perfect location to base ourselves for one week in Iceland. As we were with kids, we didn’t want to pack up every day. We were able to visit Reykjavík, the south coast all the way to Vik, the Golden circle, and Heimaey easily from this base. The house had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Our kids loved soaking in the hot tub, the swing, and playing soccer for hours. The views from the deck were gorgeous. We were sad to leave. Bergthora is very responsive to every question we had and included some much appreciated personal touches like coffee pods, a chocolate bar, and a note. We highly recommend this place. Thank you for sharing your space, Bergthora!

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free.
