Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

What a stunning little cottage. Great space for me, hubby and our dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy and the attention to detail is amazing. The welcome basket was an added bonus and very much appreciated. It was just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bedale and it has everything you need.

Amazing stay would go again. It’s was such a nice place , nice a private hot tub area . The cottage was so clean and tidy had everything you needed in it and so Nicola informed us what wasn’t available in advance to know what to bring. We had an amazing stay thank you.

Great for the 6 of us, plenty of space and ideal location. Very well appointed cottage , the kitchen had everything. Ideal for our family , 1 bathroom was tricky , but was ok and we managed to find parking on the main road and local car park , which was handy. Bedrooms were ideal and plenty of space.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

This place is absolutely perfect. The interior decor is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything has been well thought out, it was such a pleasure to stay. With a chippy (which I highly recommend), a shop, multiple pubs, and plenty of walking routes (Shap abbey is a MUST) the barn was in the most perfect spot. Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Low House was a truly amazing Lakeland property. Each plush living room included good quality furniture and each comfortable bedroom and spotlessly clean bathrooms included what appeared to be brand new fixtures and fittings. A total of 13 people, (comprising 9 adults and 4 children) stayed over a gloriously sunny pre-Easter weekend to celebrate my 70th birthday and the very well appointed kitchen included every conceivable kitchen appliance supplied to the highest standard coped extremely well with the demands of a wide variety of meals. Particular mention should be made of the large garden across the lane including Breeze House. We particularly enjoyed watching the children play in a very safe space, allowing the adults to unwind with a glass of something cool! No review of Low House would be complete without mention of the hot tub! What a great feature of the accommodation, particularly enjoyed by the children. Thank you Low House for an unforgettable weekend.

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.
