Lovely stay at Emma's place, cosy, comfortable and peaceful. Definitely recommend it to those who want a really quiet getaway. Facilities are great, all you need and very well equipped. Good access to the Brecon Beacons, well within walking distance. All the shops you need are in Brecon, so really easy to stock up. Thanks Emma.

Very close to town, station and motorway

HeidiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Nick's house. As before, Nick was responsive to messages beforehand. We were able to park right outside the house. It was all clean and tidy as before. Nick kindly added an extra guitar so both my kids had one. It was very convenient for us as we were in Newport for the marathon.

Brecon Beacons Getaway for Two

CharlotteRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

We absolutely loved our stay at Abbey Dore. The house was spacious, brilliant kitchen and dining room area with two lovely living rooms. Dog friendly holiday home on a lovely beach

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

Forestry Cottage, Hot Tub, Gym, below Pen y fan

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

We had a perfect Easter weekend stay! Jacqui was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. The 2-bed accommodation was lovely: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a beautiful pool. It was also very dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Luxury cosy home

JamesRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This was one of our favorite Airbnbs maybe ever (and we've spent months traveling and staying in Airbnbs). This cottage is absolutely breathtakingly cute and spotless. The decorating is warm and cozy chic. The setting is stunning. It was nice to be at a retreat center and Laura has done a beautiful job renovating this traditional Welsh farm, turning it into quite a showplace. Our kid loved the trampoline and tree swings. I got a massage treatment from her center, which was lovely. Laura was so kind and even brought us some dinner our second night. We'd love to return one day to this idyllic setting!

Walkers Log Cabin summer or winter cozy

AsiaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Wonderful little place with everything you need for a weekend away. In a really good location that is peaceful (really enjoyed listening to the birds!) but a very quick drive to a big Asda and a few fast food spots, so not super isolated. The cabin has a microwave, kettle, fridge and sink and we didn't feel it was lacking facilities. It's decorated very nicely, and the heater keeps it nice and warm inside. The bed is comfy and the shower is also very nice. We had a couple of local walks and then got lucky with a sunny day to explore the Brecon Beacons and climb Pen y Fan, which was ~30min drive away. The host is very friendly and was able to let us in when we'd arrived a little earlier than expected. She also left us some food essentials and creme eggs for Easter which was very appreciated! All in all a very good value for money place and a perfect spot to explore the Welsh countryside from.

Hughs Chapel Sunday School

AnnaRating, 5 stars32 months ago
Hughs Chapel Sunday School is a perfect place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights so it gave us time to explore both locally and further afield. It is on a steep hill but there are a couple of walks right on the doorstep. Ivan gave us plenty of suggestions for walks too. The pub down the road is really friendly too. The accommodation was spotless, it has beautiful views and we loved sitting in the garden taking it all in.
