Hawthorn Lodge with Jacuzzi, sauna and play area

KarenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A great base for our half term break. Very peaceful and good location for exploring by car. The hosts were responsive and on hand if needed. Lovely little touches as we stayed over Halloween, we had a Halloween shower curtain and the chicken pen was decorated with Halloween bits which the kids really enjoyed. Seeds were provided so we could feed the chickens and geese in the field right by the house. Plenty of wood was provided to keep the fire going and warm the house.

Beautiful quiet location, lots of amenities and clear instructions throughout the cottage. The welcome basket and robe + slippers were much appreciated. We had a very relaxing stay, enjoying the hot tub, log burner, board games and stunning view. Good value for money for a family of 4. The cottage was pristine, spacious and private. Thank you for a lovely stay

Pontysgob Cottage

JuliaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful weekend here. Will and Hersey are lovely hosts. Will took the time to point out the best places to walk, visit and eat. All of which were fab recommendations! The local pub, The Crown was so easy to get to and the food we had was tasty and locally sourced. The cottage itself is perfect, a tranquil place with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break away, with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub! We had a fabulous time and would love to stay again.

*Brecon Beacons,Log Burner, hot tub Dogs Welcome*

LetíciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Excellent hosts with thorough and prompt communication. There were some issues with the property initially (completely outside of their control) and they sorted us out ASAP, keeping in touch throughout. This property is exactly what we were looking for for a Christmassy weekend away as two couples; homely and cosy, lovely bedrooms and functional kitchen. The shower is great. The hot tub is SUPERB, we thoroughly enjoyed it (yes it's next to a fence with neighbouring gardens but this was not an issue - and a covered hot tub is a rarity!). We did give some feedback about having more cutlery available which they've immediately taken on board. Overall I'm really happy and will look to stay with these guys again if we're back in S Wales. Thanks!

Comfortable 3 bedroom cottage in rural Breconshire

JamesRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a really awesome stay here. There are nice walks direct from the house or a short drive away, a couple of nice towns to explore as well. You really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere at the house, it’s very peaceful and spacious enough that we spent quite a chunk of time there comfortably. Clean place, responsive host. A really awesome stay. Thanks for having us!

Beacons Gallop Holiday Cottage

JamieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Easy to find with the pinned location that was sent through. It was so peaceful despite being a working farm, which also adds to the experience. 10 minute drive through mainly single track lanes to Brecon. 20 minutes to the National Trust car park for Pen Y Fan. Well worth the trip. Very dog friendly with fenced garden and separate enclosed space to give the dog a run/toilet. Extremely friendly family who welcomed us with eggs and lemon drizzle (which is lovely btw). Very clean, good size for what we wanted. Very relaxing and a perfect way to unwind after a busy day walking. Would definitely come back. Well equipped for self catering with all that you need. All in all, peaceful, clean, cosy and perfect for exploring the local area!

Bridge End Cottage - with Parking

TraceyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent a lovely couple of days at Bridge End Cottage. The river and mountain views from the living room were beautiful. It was a very comfortable place to stay for a family of four (2 adults and 2 older children) plus a dog. The welcome pack from Karen was a real treat! The cottage is a great base to explore Crickhowell and to go on local walks. Enjoyed doing the circular Table Mountain walk from the cottage so saved having to drive anywhere. A good choice of pubs and cafes in Crickhowell. Would definitely recommend this cottage and Crickhowell as a place to stay.

Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

JoannaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Had a fantastic stay. The accommodation was perfect for a base to enjoy the local area. When the weather was awful we had a fabulous day in the sauna (which also saved my legs after walking all day). Both Angharad and Owen were on call for any issues and super helpful. It was a brilliant break with my husband - thank you x

Lilac Cottage, near Abergavenny, Brecon Beacons

EstherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lilac Cottage is wonderful - I totally recommend visiting here. Although the space is small, it is decorated and furnished beautifully - even the kitchen is well stocked to a high quality. The location is incredibly peaceful, and also a great gateway to day trips around the Brecon Beacons. We would love to come back.

Joanne saved our bacon when we needed to find a place to stay very short notice. The cottage was cute and cosy and had everything we needed. Backs on to the TAF trail with beautiful woodland for lovely walks. Fab pub just a 5 mins walk away The Glantaff Inn. So friendly there. Perfect base for our exploration of the Brecon Beacons. Joanne was wonderful and so helpful. Thank you 😊

Bullrush Barn: Canal Location, Brecon Beacons

RoxanneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent a lovely long weekend here. The space is a great, comfortable size for 4 adults and a baby and would have comfortably fit another 2 children or an adult. The property was lovely and clean. Parking was convenient and there was also the option for electric charging, although we didn't use this. My only negative comment is the double mattresses are quite squeaky, although I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't getting up in the night with the baby. Despite this they are comfortably firm. The location is peaceful and quiet, in beautiful surroundings, and right next to the canal for a lovely flat walk (suitable for a pram). We were attending a wedding at Peterstone Court and it was a very convenient 5/10 minite drive or 50 minute walk. Rachel was very quick at responding to queries. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Beacons Ride Cosy Cottage

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed at Helen’s place for a couple nights while we enjoyed the Brecon Beacons and felt right at home. The cottage is so cozy, and made even better with tea and coffee, eggs and a delicious cake which went very appreciated after a hike up the Pen Y Fan. Helen is also a friendly and really responsive host - would certainly recommend!
