Vacation rentals in Björkboda

It's an archipelago cottage and a lakeside sauna almost in the center of Turku. Excellent combination :-) The cottage was really renovated with great respect for the old and all the essentials were found - the dishes and kitchen utensils were very nice and functional, the bed at the hotel level! The sauna stove had been renovated and there was a lot of time in the sauna. Maltically, warming up damp and twilight steam. The lack of a TV meant one-on-one time for us! Yes!

Lovely and quiet place. Beautiful views, fun to watch boats sail by. Easy to get help from the host if needed as Heidi lives next door.

The condo was lovely. We truly loved our stay. It was a perfect home away from home for my family and two young kids (a 3 year old and 0 year old). The location was great. Everything was beautiful. It was sparkly clean. The owner was hospitable and timely responded to all inquiries. The condo was conveniently located just 80 minutes from Helsinki and was near the sea, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The listing indicated it had 4 bedrooms. Only three bedrooms were accessible to us, which was perfectly fine as there was plenty of room and we loved our stay. A handicap friendly elevator was offered, if needed (which we utilized for toting the heavy bags with lots of kids' stuff up to the third floor). The house had two full bathrooms and was equipped with a bubble bath and a sauna. Everything about the apartment was charming, immaculate, cozy, stylish, and just perfect. At the time we made the reservation, we inquired about our need for a crib or pack n play for our baby. The owner promptly responded that a pack n play would be provided. Not only was there a pack n play set up when we arrived, there was also a high chair set up at the dining room table. We appreciated the thoughtful and sweet gesture. Having the special items at the condo made traveling with a baby comfortable and easy. The owner was extremely friendly and courteous. Once we checked in, the owner reached out to us to make sure everything was great and assured us we could contact him with any questions/concerns during our stay. The three accessible bedrooms were on the third floor. Two bedrooms were large and had balconies. The third bedroom was smaller and had two skylights. There was a fabulous bathroom on the third floor complete with a shower and a sauna. The second floor had a full and beautiful kitchen with all the amenities we could need for cooking in the condo, a comfy and stylish living area, a long dining room table, a beautiful bathroom with a tub and shower, and a balcony with seaside views. The bottom floor had our entrance, a foyer, and the stairwell.

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding here and the photos matched the venue well. It was truly a dream location!! The location was lovely and we really appreciated Hanna’s prompt and thorough communication. Our observations on what could use improvement are minor, and we’re confident that Hanna will take them into consideration for future guests and events.

The cabin is beautiful and the location is absolutely serene. On top of that, Jon is a great host, very proactive and responsive. We couldn't have been happier with the stay.

Petri reached out on his own initiative and was very friendly in his communication. It was a bit of a wonder that there was a surprising amount of food in the fridge. All-around seamless, comfortable visit 😊

The cottage in a great location was easy to find, check-in was effortless, and everything worked as expected. We found everything we needed, and we had a better time than well, a big recommendation!

Great house in a quiet location. Everything you need is there. Built with a lot of love. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Beautiful view over the pond into the woods. We'll be happy to come back
