We had a lovely stay in this peaceful place with amazing weather! Beautifully clean with everything that you could need. Great location for exploring the area, loved seeing the red squirrels in the nearby sanctuary, Malham Clove and the Ribblehead Viaduct. Thanks for a great break.

The cottage was beautiful and very clean. We felt comfortable and cosy with the log fire and blankets for the sofa. Our dog was made to feel as welcome as we were with treats and toys etc provided. The WiFi was not great but the host had mentioned this already and there were dvds to watch instead of being reliant on free view. Beautiful area to explore and locals in the village seemed very friendly. Will hope to return.

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Lovely log cabin that was well equipped and pretty spacious for 4. Place was clean and Helen was very helpful and friendly. Good field for dog to run in and footpaths around the village and countryside for walks. Good views and peaceful location with lovely Allendale just 5 minute drive with some shops and pubs. Great hot tub. Short drive to Hadrian’s Wall sites and to Hexham - nice market town. Overall a great location to unwind and explore Northumberland.

Caroline is a fantastic host. Her home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Some lovely small details that make it extra special on arrival- welcome pack, well stocked (cleaning materials, dog throws and bowls etc). Fantastic location. We loved how peaceful it was at the cottage and the close proximity to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying at Paddy’s cottage and hope to be able to return there in the future.
