Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Biei, Kamikawa District

I had the most wonderful stay at this place. The host was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived, making me feel at home right away. They were responsive to all my messages, always ready to offer assistance or helpful tips about the area. The place itself was absolutely lovely – cozy, clean, and beautifully designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Japan, and I would love to stay here again in the future.

The interior of the house is cozy and chic, the surroundings are beautiful, and you can see the stars at night, a great stay! The only thing that was a shame was that the size of the single bed in the first floor was a bit smaller and the sir said it was not that comfortable to sleep on.Other than that, it was perfect!

everything was just great as per description. My 4yo son enjoyed the play area and toys so much, that it gave free time for me and my husband to enjoy our mini supper bought from groceries store. The set up of play area was fun and safe.

This’s a cozy house,it had everything you need for daily necessities and many good restaurant around. The Host is nice and response quick.

Love the staying experience! Fast and flexible check-in time, the owner is quick to respond to messages, the amenity air conditioning is clean, the kitchen is neat with the common space, the room bed is comfortable, and the number of toilets is sufficiently convenient for the group to wash up, and there are also convenient supermarkets and restaurants nearby.Next time I will hope to visit again. 😊

great stay after a long day drive. As described and cosy! Kids enjoyed very much with the loft bed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

We loved this airbnb. It is a fairly traditional Japanese house which is located in a beautiful, buccolic rural area just outside of Asahikawa. It was soo comfortable to stay in. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable to sleep in - dark, soundproof, and with extremely comfortable beds. The living/dining area was very functional and comfortable. The climate control in the house was great. We stayed with our two small children, and the place was great (and safe) for kids. The host, Shohei-san, was extremely responsive and helpful. He met us by the door and gave us a tour of the house, which was very appreciated. He lives close by and helped us out with various things during the stay. We loved being near Asahikawa (a 20 min drive) but not in it. We absolutely loved being surrounded by peaceful mountains and farmland. And it was an easy drive to Daisetzusan National Park, too. Also, the nearest Lawson is a 16 min drive and very well-stocked with groceries

A rustic down to earth apartment with enough rooms for my family of 5. Clean and tidy was what we liked about the apartment.

Great stay for our day trips of the area. There is no lift so be mindful if you have heavy luggage.

I didn't realize that I could see the first entry door when I opened the main entrance door, and I struggled a little, but the rest was difficult.The seasonal pattern and climate were very easy and comfortable.

Excellent accomodation with an excellent host, he is not exaggerating when he says the beds and pillows are better than a hotel.

Biei Station is right in front of you so that you can see it from the window, it's clean, and the room and living room are much larger than I thought, so I was very satisfied. There were 3 rooms and a total of 6 beds, but the room was large, the living room was spacious, and the sink was spacious, so I don't think there would be enough for 6 people (I use it for 4 people). It was cold when I first went in, but there were enough heating appliances installed, so it warmed up quickly. The recessed snow was so cute. There is an explanation that requires attention to the smell of curry, but since the first floor is a curry house, there was no smell of curry in the accommodation. If I go to Biei next time, I'd like to go again.

Stayed at Kaku Place in Furano. The accommodation was easy to find and a walkable distance to several restaurants and the ski area of Kitanomine, Furano. Keyless check-in and check-out was straightforward. The accommodation was comfortable and nicely furnished. All in all, a great base to explore the Furano area from. We found it handy to have a hire car for trips into town and to other scenic areas. However, if you just wanted to ski from Kitanomine, the walk to the Gondola is fairly short.

Lovely place which was very clean and neat, and with many amenities that make it a really comfortable stay (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine etc). Host is extremely responsive and friendly. Plenty of space to park car, and a great base to explore Furano.

Very nice and new apartment, near the slopes of Furano that you can access on foot. A little far from downtown. I recommend it!

We loved everything about this apartment: its proximity to the base of Kitanomine, the layout and design, the comfort and warmth, and the ultra-cleanliness. Although we mostly ate out at the many fabulous restaurants Furano offers, the kitchen is set up with everything you need. There is a large combo washing machine/dryer. As always with these, the dryer takes forever, but there’s also a drying rack which works well overnight. All rooms have heating and can be adjusted in each. The bathrooms are large by Japanese standards; water pressure is hot and strong. Most welcome during winter is the covered carport so you don’t need to clear the snow each time you use the car – luxury! The staff member at the management office was excellent, very friendly, had great English, and offered advice for restaurants. Can definitely recommend and we will stay here again on our next visit.
