What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

We had a great stay. The location was perfect as it was easy walking distance to the centre of Cardiff. Despite being so central the street was extremely quiet. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Cardiff. Exceptional value.

The cottage is gorgeous and Virginie ensured we had everything we needed for a luxurious and cosy stay. The garden is perfect for a dog, and there are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep!

A beautiful location with stunning views from the property - we didn't want to close the curtains! Lovely and spacious with two bathrooms. There were 4 of us staying but there's ample space for 6 guests. There is a nice veranda to have a cup of tea in the sun and watch the boats come and go in the harbour. Polruan is a pretty village overlooking the river Fowey, and Fowey across the water, is also great for a day out looking around the shops or taking a walk to St Catherine's Point where there is a lovely little beach and a walk up to the castle. The ferry was frequent and very convenient to use to get across to Fowey. We hired a self drive motorboat to explore the river which was a great afternoon out. Parking is about a 10 min walk away at the top of the village, so be aware of the climb back up the hill to the car at the end of your stay! A very enjoyable stay in a quiet and beautiful setting.

Beautiful, quiet location. Little Ashton was very comfortable, home from home, with outlooks to the countryside and excellent location to Bude and the surrounding coastal towns . Perfect getaway !! The host Robert gave clear instructions on how to locate the property and thank you for the provisions of milk, bread ,jam etc . Much appreciated!

We really enjoyed our stay for my sons birthday. Was a short weekend visit. But we loved the natural surroundings and felt it was very private and peaceful. The cabin was equipped with everything you might need and the hosts were friendly and responsive. We hope to maybe come back with family and rent both cabins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashley’s property. The property was lovely and well equipped and the garden was one of the best we’ve had, well enclosed (perfect for a nosey dog!) with good facilities. It is a remote location but it was perfect for us. It was not even a 5 minute drive to Tamar Lakes which was a lovely 3 mile walk and the cafe was lovely for food as well. We also took a 20 minute drive into Bude. So albeit remote, it was a short drive to lots of areas. Thank you for your hospitality Ashley.
