Vacation rentals in Bickham Bridge

Really lovely apartment in a great location, a very short walk to the seafront/harbour and town. Lots of extras like a welcome pack, toiletries, books, DVDs and parking permit (needed and very appreciated, we were able to park close by all weekend). Clean and tidy throughout. Host gives plenty of information and also contacted us to check in early once the apartment was ready, couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Just had 3 nights in Torquay, staying at Adams place which was spotlessly clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen really nice quality too. Lovely welcome hamper from Adam. It was a 10 min walk into Torquay from the house so a very convenient location (quite a steep hill home) and quiet too. I would really recommend Adams place and will stay there again.

We had a lovely stay, wish we could stay longer! Brixham is beautiful and so much to do, and the accommodation was perfectly situated, comfortable and full of character. Would recommend the Dartmouth Steam Railway, a trip to Totnes, the river cruise to Dartmouth, a walk around Berry Head or for the hardier walker the trail to Greenway and back. And for early risers it’s great to see a working fishing port in action. The harbour is so pretty at night, with lots of choices for fish n chips.

The cottage was in a perfect location to visit our grandchildren over Christmas. Ann and David decorated the cottage beautifully for Christmas; it was so cosy with the log burner with a good supply of logs provided. The cottage was so cosy, clean and spacious for four adults, two little children and a secure garden for the little family dog. I would highly recommend Woolcott Cottage for its location and we would not hesitate renting the cottage again. Thank you Ann and David.

I stayed at Orlando Cottage for a NY getaway and it was perfect. The accomodation had everything you would need (incl. toiletteries, cooking salt, pepper, oil, T bags etc) and the hosts even kindly supplied a bag of treats and some milk. After a long day walking, a quick check in and a hot cuppa with 0 faff are so so needed! The location is ideal - an easy 20 min walk into Sidmouth and handy (car wise) to all the other local villages and attractions. I wouldnt hesitate to revisit and/or recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you!

This is the second time we’ve been to Still House. We first visited 5 years ago and have always wanted to revisit. It was just how we remembered it (potentially even better). Was welcomed with a lovely hamper (thoughtful touch). The sheets were just as nice as we remembered and slept well. We made full use of the open fire, hot tub and wine on the sofa in front of the TV. The kitchen is fully stocked - we cooked a roast on the Sunday! Easy access to the coast or countryside and great to see the stars at night and hear the birds in the morning. Lovely relaxing stay.

Tempted to say Coast Cottage was awful, just to make it easier for me to book again in the future! But I cannot lie, everything about the property, the host & the location was perfect. Shaldon is a beautiful village, small but with everything you could need within walking distance including a village store, chippy, great bakery at the end of the road & a good choice of pubs (The FerryBoat Inn was definitely our favourite). The locals are very welcoming, everyone says hello as you walk around & Teignmouth is a short walk across the bridge. Nick is a great host, kept in contact with us from the point of booking onwards & even messaged on the day we checked in to make sure everything was OK. Coast Cottage itself is idyllic. Literally a one minute walk from the coast, inside the property there is everything you could hope to find, and more. Stunning kitchen, comfy sofa & bed and all warm & cosy. Our dog especially enjoyed the underfloor heating downstairs. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely spot-on place. We'll almost certainly return. Just chilling in the place and soaking in the view is amazing, although set yourself an alarm if you've booked a table for dinner in the Tapas place that's a two-minute walk away because the hours fly by when you're relaxing with a glass of wine and incredible sea views. The hosts are honest about a lack of car parking at the venue and that's maybe a slight issue, but it wasn't a massive issue for us. We dumped out car outside with the hazard lights flashing while we offloaded the suitcases and then parked nearby. We were staying out of season so the pay-and-display car park was free, but even in peak season it looks like that's only around £4/day. Be aware it's a two or three minute walk to your car, though. Overall? Yes, we'd definitely recommend this place. My wife and I have come back from a long weekend there feeling completely de-stressed. Just book it; you won't regret it.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.
