Gayana’s place was everything we hoped for and more! We were staying for a multi day wedding nearby and needed a clean easy place to sleep and get ready. Gayana and her lovely housekeeper ensured we had everything we needed and more! Including a delicious breakfast every day and assistance to one of the guests who has a visual impairment, which was so kind and appreciated. Beautiful house with a lovely pool - couldnt recommend more!

We stayed at Madampe for Christmas, it was one of the best stays for all of us. The villa is prettier and bigger that in the pictures, pool was clean all the time, very beautiful trees and flowers. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and attentive, they also cooked us amazing dishes for a very good price. It was very peaceful and homey, the beach is literally 5 minute walk from villa and we saw the most amazing sunsets. One thing I would suggest is that if you’re planning to visit Madampe house make sure to bring mosquito repellant spray. Other than that everything was beyond our expectations!

It is impossible to sum up just how welcome we were made to feel from the minute we arrived until departure. The villa was beautiful and the pool exquisite- large to relax and swim and spotlessly clean . The inside exactly as described. But the experience was made special due to the wonderful staff, Gihan and his team, who could not do more to make the stay so special. Beautiful breakfasts showcasing Sri Lankan specialities and home cooked food for dinner if wanted for a reasonable cost. He also drove willingly to nearby Hikkaduwa so able to eat out on as many nights as one wanted. However they also respected guests desire for privacy - a difficult balance to achieve. They went above and beyond anything we might have hoped for. The villa is a little remote but one knows that before booking and the tranquility more than made up for the inability to walk to restaurants. I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Ranil should more clearly explain regarding the service being provided by the staff. When we ordered this villa we were not even aware of the fact there were services included and we had our own cook, maintenance specialist and a personal manager. Apart from that, everything was amazing. This villa is for somebody who wants quiet and be away from civilization for a while

One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

Everything is great, help with all questions, bikes and other questions . I knocked out the internet a couple of times, but the guys fixed it. The pool is clean and in hot weather it solves a lot 😌

We stayed at PJ's villa for two weeks. We asked a lot of clarifying questions before the trip. The answers were clear and understandable. In addition to breakfast, we also ordered dinner for every evening. In this regard, the housekeeper/cook Nijhal exceeded all expectations. Fish, shrimp, chicken, rice, salad, pancakes, fresh juice cocktails, etc. were our ordered menu every night. Nijhal was punctual and discreet! The goodbye hugs were sincere. PS! Since the location is on the edge of a lagoon lined with mangroves, life felt like in Jurassic Park at times. However, everything was safe and typical of Sri Lanka. Marika ja Rene from Estonia.

We had a great time at Thenu Villa! Everything was super clean and the hosts were responsive. Highly recommend coming here for a stay nearby Hikkaduwa and major attractions.

Valentina was an amazing host, very proactive towards resolving all our queries and the place was perfect in terms of proximity to the main road where all the restaurants/bars/shacks are located.

Sudu and team provided the absolute best hospitality and service we could ever wish for. Every detail - communication, meals, transportation - was managed perfectly with touching kindness and thoughtfulness, and the highlight standards of professionalism. Our every need was anticipated, including staying up until 2am to greet us after our flight was delayed, offering us a late checkout after lunch without us asking, along with many more special touches such as bringing us homemade local sweets for New Year’s Day, providing amazing fish barbecue in addition to delicious vegetarian meals, meticulous cleaning of common areas, offering to drive us to our next destination and immediately attending to any small issue that arose with such graciousness and professionalism. They took extra care to accommodate our 2 year old by providing baby chair, preparing special meals for her and they even washed all the bottles. We can’t thank you enough. The highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka was our stay at Villa Sepalika. Driving through the gates for the first time, felt as though we had arrived in paradise! We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful villa. The design and attention to detail and every single piece of furniture in it. The incredible garden was the perfect oasis to return to every day. We loved seeing all the creatures in this incredible garden. The monitor lizards, the monkeys, the peacocks, the beautiful birds, and squirrels. Some days we didn’t want to leave the villa as we wanted to take it all in and enjoy lounging on the comfortable furniture whilst admiring the beautiful garden and magnificent pool. We cannot speak highly enough of the incredible villa staff who took such great care of us. It felt as though we were returning home to family each day. Mr Bandara, Damika, Hasini and Palitha, we miss you all! JC was the perfect host and we cannot wait to return to Villa Sepalika!

We had the most amazing time here! Waking up surrounded by jungle and the sounds of birds! Loved the airbnb, beautiful in its design and has all the amenities you need. A special mention to our amazing hosts! Had a brilliant cooked meal as well as welcome drinks. Can’t wait to come back here, loved every second we were here.

Very happy to stay here, a little tricky to find but Raju was in close communication and helped us locate it. He is a friendly and helpful host and the villa is great with a nice outdoor space and decent rooms. It's an easy 15 min walk to the beach. Would be keen to stay here again!

Beautiful property! Easy access to town with great restaurants closeby. The beach was super close too. The pool was clean and the backyard was super handy. Just be mindful of the mozzies (not so much inside as the outside). The train station is right next door (as mentioned in the listing) so if you are a light sleeper take the third bedroom as the noise wasn’t audible with the fan and aircon on. Overall, it was a great stay with great amenities and easy access to everything we needed.

Five of us as a family lived in the loft and two of the guest rooms for a total of three months. We were delighted by the great 25m swimming pool with clear water, the great garden and the large sports room. Jacky and Igmar looked after us and our kids excellently individually, including Christmas decorations, a huge Carrerabahn, a Playmobil farm and various pool and yoga accessories over the time. We also loved a ping pong table, as well as the ingenious roof terrace with a view. Jacky also got us a mocha pot and a smoothie maker. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. This time, the occasion was the practical year of medical studies at Karapitiya Hospital, the kids attended Galle International College.

It was a really beautiful peaceful spot! Would definitely love to visit again!

Very beautiful place. Quiet gated area. Beautiful lawn with grass, behind which is a beautiful beach and the ocean. Very beautiful view. Lots of greenery. Beautiful pool. Lots of places to relax. Each room has air conditioning, shower, toilet. Our company really liked everything. The children were especially delighted! Didn't get out of the pool and the ocean. The food is very tasty and varied. The staff is very friendly. Always trying to help with any questions. Jayantha and his team - special thanks to you, you allowed us to truly relax. You took all the worries upon yourself, we did not think about anything and did not need anything. We celebrated the new 2025 year at the villa - it was the most fantastic two weeks. This is an expensive place, but it is worth the money. This is the best private villa in Hikkaduwa. Would we come back here - of course yes!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Plantation house! Great communication from Glenda and Ingrainia and Madu made us very welcome and looked after us so well. The pool was pristine and a perfect cool down after a hot day. Close to lots of restaurants and easy to get to attractions either by tuk tuk or train. Hikkaduwa and turtle beach very friendly and plenty of good restaurants even in low season!

The villa is one of these rare places that actually is better than the photos. And the team taking care of the house and the guests were amazing. We felt so welcome and they handled all situations with grace and kindness. I also appreciated that Ambolangoda is not the most touristic destination; only one or two beach bars, and the small center of the city was very local.

Phoenix Retreat is a beautiful and well-located property, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The place looks exactly like in the photos - everything is well maintained and clean. The pool is stunning and we spent a lot of time in the pool and by the lakeside. The host, Philippa, is organised and prompt in her responses, and Channa, the property manager, is one of the kindest people we’ve met and he took care of every small and big need on our holiday. We also highly recommend to try his wife’s simple Sri Lankan cooking during the stay. Overall, this villa was the perfect place to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday with a few close friends!
