This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

We love staying at Maria’s place. It is our second time staying there. It is the perfect place for us. It is beautiful, peaceful, perfectly appointed, convenient to where we like to go when we’re visiting. Maria is super helpful. If we need something she is available either in person or by phone or text. We feel so well taken care of when we are there.

If you need to stay in West Berkeley, this is a very convenient spot. The cottage is unusual and artistic. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs kitchen with loads of windows.

I’m a frequent traveler to the BBH. Barb and Ken really do a great job and are very attentive. If you’re searching reviews for a deciding factor - I can’t say enough good things about these wonderful people. (Unless your booking conflicts with mine. Then stay away. ). ;)

Heidi's cottage is in the back yard of her house and is cute, private, and well situated in Berkeley.

We , and our lil pup absolutely loved this place. We were in awe of the beautiful koi fish pond and surrounding garden. This place is beyond beautiful and so very peaceful. Our host was very helpful w/ check in and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure our packages were secured and or delivered personally to our door. Our lil pup really loved exploring the gardens and got excited every morning to greet her koi friends. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Leslie’s place. It’s in a perfect location with a lot of places to go hiking nearby which is what we wanted. The place was easy to find and it was super clean and peaceful. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the fresh eggs that she left for us. The loft upstairs is super cute with a comfy bed. I ended up sleeping on the cot and I let my son have the bed since he’s bigger than I am but the cot worked for just one night and I was grateful that she had it. I would definitely stay here again. Leslie was very nice and easy to communicate with via the app. Thank you Leslie!

The quest house is esthetically nice and well equipped. I enjoyed looking out to the patio with the bamboo screen and greenery. The location is very convenient to the freeway. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Mira was quick to respond and provided clear directions. Her place is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s bright and airy and had everything we needed for our short stay! Will certainly stay again!

This was my third time at Bitty House and - as always - it was awesome (clean, quite, beautiful location)! Eugenia and John are wonderful hosts and I couldn’t recommend more!

This is a beautiful space to escape the city to! Gorgeous backyard and the bed was super comfy. It was close enough to walk to the downtown area easily; we didn't use our car the whole trip. Highly recommend! The jacuzzi tub is a nice touch after walking around in the sea air at night.

Fantastic location. Very nice hosts. We had a difficult time unlocking the door (it requires a certain trick). Luckily the host answered her phone and met us at the unit and taught us how to use the door. It was late and cold, so it was unfortunate, but grateful for the helpful host. We found the unit to be very nice, but quite drafty in the winter. We were traveling with a small baby, so this was a challenge. I bet this unit is wonder to stay in in the Spring and Summer months.

We’ve come back to the Treehouse multiples times, and every time it’s been a wonderful and relaxing time.

Can’t say enough about how much we love staying here. The place is perfect for our needs, immaculate, and so well equipped and stocked. Mary is just the best: friendly, responsive, attentive and so focused on making sure that everything is perfect throughout our stay. Not our first time and won’t be our last!

Stayed here for about 2 weeks while in between places! Was very comfortable, felt safe, and in a great location. Steven was very responsive and helpful any time I had questions. Check in was fairly easy. The lock gave us some trouble getting jammed a couple of times but Steven was able to get it fixed and replaced in a reasonable amount of time. Kitchen was equipped with most essentials. Didn’t have a pot but I was able to make do with the pans/kettle just fine. At check in, I think it was a previous guest that left trash behind but it was easy to find the bins to dispose of. Bathroom was clean. Water pressure for the shower was nice too. I’m usually particular about bathrooms but I was happy to with this. Living room was comfortable. It was cold so it would’ve been nice to have a small throw blanket but I found a portable heater in the bedroom that worked well. Bedroom was cozy with a workspace for WFH which was the highlight for me. Spotty wifi at times but mostly worked well.

This is a lovely little place conveniently located near North Berkeley and University Village. It's a safe family neighborhood with parking. Raquel is very responsive and I highly recommend this accommodation.

Jun is a wonderful and attentive host who provides clear, detailed check-in instructions. The location is highly convenient, situated between San Jose and Concord—perfect for those who need to travel between the two. Within a 5 to 10-minute drive, you'll find Costco, Walmart, Safeway, 24 Hour Fitness, and even Nordstrom Rack. Access to the freeway is quick and hassle-free. Jun’s place is in a safe, quiet neighborhood, and inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space is impeccably clean and well-organized. A+ for both the host and the accommodation!

This is a great house. Nothing fancy - but has everything you need to make your stay comfortable

We chose this stay to host guests over the holidays and it had everything we could’ve needed. The kitchen was functional for cooking breakfast and the rooms were very private and had their own bathrooms. Xing Tian was very helpful when we needed an extra gate key, and when we had any questions. We’ll definitely be coming back!
