What a peaceful treasure. The road to the cottage is private with a 20mph posted speed that is seriously followed. The water was also quiet, shallow and fun to kayak. The views from inside are breathtaking. And the sitting room in the master bedroom, three sides of sunshine with cozy chairs. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Close to Sleeping Bear, Frankfort and many lovely dog friendly walks.

We unexpectedly had to find additional lodging asap due to our dog. Chad's place was available and he was very accommodating to get us situated on short notice. The house is located on a quiet street between two lakes, the surroundings were beautiful and the house was clean with all the necessary amenities.

Exactly as described! Looks just like the photos. Hosts were always responsive and gave very easy check in instructions. Cozy home!

We stayed at this Airbnb because I was racing Ironman Michigan 70.3 in Frankfort, and it was the perfect spot! Perfectly sized for me and my family that also came to cheer me on. It was a 10 minute drive to the start line, a 25 minute drive to the sleeping bear dunes, and just a perfect place to stay! Highly recommend this stay!

We had a wonderful stay. This house was well equipped in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms with quality, newer, matching pans/utensils, towels and bedding. Plenty of paper products as well. Lots of space for 7 adults, including a very comfortable living room (2nd on lower level) and beautiful deck with plenty of seating and even a Solo wood stove!

Our extended family of 19 (10 adults, 9 children) loved the Birch. Plenty of room for all. Very clean when we arrived. Very well equipped house. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Wonderful location and view overlooking Lake Michigan. Convenient to all our day time activities. All agreed that it was a first class experience. We hope to come back next year!

Very cozy cabin with easy access to the betsie river. Will definitely consider this location again when planning another fishing trip.

Great location for the Peak to Peak MTB race. We loved the cabin and that we could bring our dogs. It was perfect for our weekend away.

This is our second stay at this wonderful home. We love the accommodations and the location. The kitchen is perfect for cooking some great meals after a day of skiing. We love the location as well. We can head in and out of the resort at the Buck ski lift and be right at the house. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Great place. 12 of us were able to spread out. Easy walk to the village but we loved the fire pit in the backyard. Thanks for the great memories.

Blackberry Cottage was perfect for a great getaway. The Cottage had everything we needed and more. The open floor plan of the great room (kitchen, dining and lounging areas) allowed people to be together, even if not doing the same thing. I loved the personalized "rock wall" in the corner of the great room, and the utensil wall in the kitchen was very handy. The back porch was a big bonus, especially the gas firepit. The photos do not do the cottage justice. The privacy fence also blocks the wind and allows for outdoor activities. It's a short drive to Frankfort, which offers a choice of restaurants, grocery store, and shops to visit. It's a very friendly town. There are lots of things to do: trails for walking/biking, parks to explore, and lakes to admire, and Terry was a super host. The response time on any opportunity was very quick and informative. Terry is friendly, accommodating, flexible, and patient. We would love to stay here again if/when we return to the area. THANKS

Perfect home, perfect location. The home has views of the sand dunes and Lake Michigan whether inside or outside. Griner's Life Saving Station (home) had everything we needed to spend the most awesome week ever!

We were pleasantly surprised when we first entered the cottage. The layout was great. Everything we needed for cooking and eating is there except there is no colander for straining pasta. There is a coffee pot, but we prefer Keurig so we took ours with us from home. Plenty of counter space for preparing food. Fridge/freezer works great. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor separated by a full bath with a door to each room. 2nd full bath just outside of the 2nd bedroom. Upstairs there are 2 double beds and 2 twin. Mattresses aren't too bad. I slept like a baby but hubby felt the mattress was too hard for him. Board games & puzzles available (not much for kids toys though). Firepit w/ chairs & loungers are right out across the dirt drive as well as the dock. Kayaks and boat need a serious cleaning but was great to have them. several adult life jackets & some tubes in the garage for use also. The deck is huge and would be great for a patio set. We were all very happy with the property

Camp Squid has a strong emotional vibe. No frills, but lots of friendliness and kindness. Kendra is a wonderful host who had live music, fire pit and a 4th of July Spirit for all visitors. Recommend for those who are seeking something different than the usual old things when traveling.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb and we will definitely be back! We love the location and how close everything is especially the brewery right next door! Dan was very responsive and a great host!

Loved staying at Betty and Marty’s place. The lofted guest space is so comfortable and cozy. Betty and Marty themselves are incredibly friendly and helpful. They shared some fruits and veggies with us, and welcomed our pets with open arms. This is truly a gem of Benzonia!

Great place on beautiful Upper Herring Lake. Good for kids and dogs and close to hiking trails and town (Frankfort). We would definitely consider renting again.
