Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Bentota

We arrived at three o'clock in the morning and met us like family. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. If you want to stay a little in the rainforest, watch parrots, squirrels, insects, look at plants, then this place is a great place. The veranda is located, so that you can enjoy the view of the vegetation and create a sense of privacy. Breakfast deserves special attention, time can be negotiated in advance, as it was convenient for us. There was always delicious Ceylon tea, fruit shakes, and the dishes were delicious with a local feel, new and varied every day. Now about the house and its hostess. An interesting design (which is why we chose it) for three friends was comfortable and cozy in it for three friends in it. The reality was better than the picture in the app. The host responded to our requests, all of our needs were met. Intika surrounded us with care and attention. We cooked dinners ourselves, either on the grill in the yard or in the kitchen at home. The evenings were spent on the veranda. They clean the house, if we wish, also change towels. There is a washing machine, the Hostess will be happy to show you how to use the appliances. And will dry things. What made us very happy is the beach. Wide coastline, great water temperature and minimum people. Unlike the other end of the beach. 12 minutes walk, we really liked these walks, there is an opportunity to see the real life of the locals. The fruit market is 10 minutes away. The fish market is 15 minutes away. We were very satisfied with both the location and the price and of course the quality. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It is always a pleasure when a stay lives up to expectations. Darshaka and his Family exceeded our expectations definitely. They were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was close enough to the beach but very quiet except for birdsong and the odd monkey call. He also organised tours for us which were great. We will come again.

I had a great time staying at Waduge Amila's house. He and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. He bought me a toothbrush as I had forgotten mine, and his wife made me a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, complete with a powerful fan and mosquito net. I got some peaceful and much needed rest. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

The best thing about our stay: the very friendly hosts! The room itself is simple, but has all what you need for a short stay: air condition, a private bathroom and a small fridge. We are happy to recommend this accomodation to other travellers.

Got a tip to this place that it was a great place to stay. Rooms where clean, airco present, easy communication. All what you can expect. But the absolute highlights for me, was the friendly atmosphere, and way they helped me, the step back, close to basics and nature, in a very convieniant way. And the small surprices I had during my stay there, like seeing fireflies, cameleons and a monitor. At all times I felt safe, welcome and I could relax, enjoying a book or just marval at the garden and river. I can highly recommand this place.

This guesthouse is a fabulous find ! If you are looking for somewhere in Mirissa that is quiet, well-run and offers excellent value for money, then look no further Modesha and her family run their guesthouse with love and affection. I felt welcomed in from the moment I arrived and cared for until the moment I left. The location is an oasis from the crowds of Mirissa; the rooms, with en-suite bathrooms, are spacious and clean and the breakfast is a real treat. Highly recommended !

Place was great. A clean and beautiful house. Very peaceful surrounding and very close to a nice clean beach Luma beach. Tuk tuk easily available from the stay to anywhere in Galle. Amazing Breakfast and very nice hosts. Recommended.

The space is perfect place to unwind. Located directly at the beach, the location is unbeatable and the large garden is also paradise. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. On the large grounds, we also got into conversation with a few regular guests who have been choosing this accommodation for many years. We absolutely understand why they keep coming back and would do the same. After a few days, we even had the feeling of belonging to the family and picked up coconuts together on our last day - that was really nice. Thanks for the hospitality and the great time! ✨

Villa Sublime lives up to its name. We spent a month in Sri Lanka travelling around AirBnB's and this was my favourite. The location is convenient but yet you feel a million miles away from other people. The grounds and the accommodation are immaculate and tasteful. Darshini is a great cook and so obliging, we were there to chill and we ate at the villa most days so we really availed ourselves of her wonderful Sri Lankan food. The pool was fabulous and it's so much fun to float about and watch the monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I'm fussy. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Sailor's bay for 3 nights. Location is superb right on the beach and quite secluded with not many people on the beach. Breakfast was very tasteful with good options to chose from. Host is very friendly to talk to and provides good information on the nearby places to visit. The room is quite nicely managed and quite spacious. We highly recommend this place to everyone for long or short stays.

Just a stunning, beautiful home which cannot be captured in photos. Lush jungles and canopies around and below our private little pool. Dinesh is a positive, charming person who is a pleasure to be around. We truly enjoyed spending time with him and hearing his stories, chatting and laughing. Our rooms and verandah were spacious and clean, and a respite from busy Galle. We wouldn't miss staying here a second time, and recco it to anyone seeking a little paradise.

Had an amazing stay at N34 Mirissa. Breakfast was good, rooms were extremely clean, the staff was very welcoming and the beach was at a 5 minute walking distance. The host was very accommodating too to accept my last minute change request (changed from a 5 night stay to a 3 night stay). Great place to stay!

Beautiful spot and very relaxing. Almost like a private beach compared to the overcrowded tourist trap of Hikkaduwa. There is a pool and beach access from the garden. Lovely deck area facing the ocean. The hosts live on site but are very helpful and welcoming yet respectful of privacy. The downside was we didn’t realize it was a shared bathroom but it wasn’t a problem as we were the only ones there and it has hot water. I would come again and it is a great place to chill if you want some down time.

Edwin’s was a special place - a luxurious villa with a spacious swimming pool, beautifully decorated rooms, and super friendly staff. Wow! What a beautiful place this is. I was blown away by the surroundings as soon as I stepped in. The pictures are accurate but also don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. Keveen welcomed us with a welcome drink and the most friendly welcome we’ve had whilst travelling. He was so helpful with booking us taxi’s, providing recommendations, lovely conversation, and a breakfast box when we had to leave early for the airport. The other gentleman there (sorry I didn’t get his name) was also wonderful and took our bags to our room and was always there with a smile. The room is unbelievable, a gorgeous scent when arriving and spotlessly clean!! The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the breakfast was lovely by the pool with that amazing view. I would come back in a heartbeat if I am in Sri Lanka again - what a gorgeous stay with wonderful staff. Thank you!

A unique accommodation, close to everything you need. The beach is 2 steps away, and the view of the jungle is magical. Bathiya helped us with any information we needed and made our stay more pleasant, welcoming us with a fresh drink and helping us to integrate into the atmosphere of the place. We recommend with love!
