We purchased the property in 2010 and Built this cottage for our family. After our children moved out we sold our home and moved here as our full-time residence. We loved lake living so decided to build our new home on the same property, using our cottage as a guest home. We did not use it as much as expected so we decided to Rent it for additional retirement income. The building has 1536 sq ft, including the 3-season porch. 2, 12'x15' bedrooms with 7 beds, plus a sofa bed in the living area.

Laurel's modern, beautiful and cozy home in the woods is the perfect getaway to relax and restore. There are trails right out the door to explore and enjoy the trees and fields. We were greeted by a blanket of snow and saw families of deer as we walked. After, we spent time by the fire puzzling and playing games. The kitchen is well equipped for shared meals. Laurel is an amazing and responsive host. We have been before, and we will be back again! Thank you Laurel!

We stayed at Mary’s place while in town for the college football playoffs. The first thing that stood out was that Mary left us handwarmers for the game, knowing that it’d be chilly on a mid December night. Her house is beautiful, and it has many other thoughtful touches. The food and drinks she left for us came in handy for a snack, and the heated bathroom floor was amazing, especially after a full day in 25 degree weather! It was an easy drive to campus, and I would definitely stay at Mary’s place again. Go Irish!

What a great find! Often the photos make a place look bigger, but this home is deceptively large. Very comfortable and clean. Lots of areas where people can find their own space. Good mattresses, and that’s a huge plus. South Haven is a jewel of a town, and this area in particular is outstanding. You can easily walk to a pristine beach, or the fun downtown and market area. Sweet neighborhood! Finally, you can’t ask for a better host than Chris. Before we got there he proactively sent several helpful messages. He always responded quickly whenever I sent a question. And after we left and realized a treasured stuffed animal had been left behind, he connected with the cleaning crew and organized a way for us to get it back. He is our hero!

Michele and Phil’s “The Villa Goshen” was a perfect location and provided all the amenities and space our family needed for our visit. The first night, a storm came through; a tornado warning was issued, sirens rang, and lightening hit right next to the house. Michele communicated during the whole event to make sure all of us were aware and stayed safe. Michele and Phil make this home both comforting and welcoming to their guests.

Jill is an amazing host who is very responsive & considerate, and Bees Place is very welcoming! The home's architecture is great, it's furnished with so many interesting details, and is stocked up with various supplies & amenities that I've never had at other Airbnbs. This was such a peaceful getaway with plenty of things to do/eat locally (even if you're not going into the National Park). Tryon Farm is wonderful - well maintained, lots to explore, and most importantly I felt safe as a solo female traveler (sufficiently private without complete seclusion). My four-legged child was in her element on Tryon Farm and we already can't wait to go back!

The cabin and surroundings are delightful. All is as advertised. Living room furniture could be more comfortable to sit on. We were out and about much of the time. Primary bed was very comfortable. Neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. A wonderful getaway spot.
