From booking to check out, Justin provided an at ease guide for my work trip. I believe the binder with recommendations from restaurants to fun spots to visit was extremely helpful with navigating my down time in Clear Lake. Justin’s place was extremely clean and the renovated kitchen came together for a perfect spot to have home cooked meals away from home.

Charming Cottage on North Shore GREAT LOCATION

My friends and I stayed here for winter dance party. It was in a great location; walking distance to the surf ballroom. The place was full of cozy, knickknacks, and decorations. The kitchen was fully stocked with about any appliance or tool that you needed. There was a whole cabinet full of games to play if you would like. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is only less than a block from the lake.

There are many places to stay in the Ventura/Clear lake area. I found this place 3 years ago and do not plan to book anywhere else. Our group of 8/9 guys book a trip every year to enjoy some fishing on the ice in February every year. This home is always ready for us, and fits our needs perfectly! Cozy, a great view and plenty of room! If it is available, we will keep booking it! Thank you for being a perfect host!

Nicely renovated home within a few minutes walking distance to downtown and the lake. House was spotless and quiet even though it's located one of the main streets into town. It was also fully stocked with amenities. The furnishings are thoughtfully geared for guests. the host is friendly, attentive but not intrusive

This is a great location in clear lake, and the cottage is packed with little extras for a family getaway. They have everything you could possibly need for the beach and the kitchen is fully stocked. We loved the game closet!

This home is a lovely place to decompress. We found this spot in Mason City, IA after a few nights at a local hotel. Our stay in Mason City was unexpected from an emergency room stop during a road trip, with an extended stay here. I am so thankful to have found a host like Kathy to have the kindness and desire to help make the home as amenable to the mobility needs and concerns of my parents and she could. Property as described. The host responded very quickly when I had issues. Unfortunately, the train runs nearby but the good news is that it’s not as active at night. Something to consider if you’re a light sleeper. Laundry in basement which was different than what I’m used to. It’s a cute house though that’s well disguised.

This home is wonderful and worth the stay. The house was immaculate and in a quiet location minutes from amenities. Sara was extremely accommodating to an extended stay and very responsive to any questions. I will be looking for this place again for future stays and I cannot recommend it enough.

Perfect house for our girls weekend! Very clean and organized. The living space was open and inviting as well as the deck. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to City Park, bars and restaurants downtown. Would definitely return to this house for a family or friends getaway to Clear Lake.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Josh and Katie’s house on Clear Lake, Iowa. The home was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared, making it the perfect getaway. The views of the lake were stunning, wood-burning fireplace and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. Josh and Katie were incredibly accommodating and responsive.
