We had an amazing stay in the cabin! It is in a very peaceful area and the cabin itself is beautiful and pretty well sealed. It is a 5 minute drive to Hopkins. Definitely recommend!

Your Own “Peace” of Paradise

LindaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The space was rustic but clean and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable. Richard is very responsive, and his dad Peter was very friendly and helpful. We regretted having to leave early due to Tropical Storm Sara because we had wanted to hike around a bit, but we did get to see some of the smaller crocs that live in the pond!
The exterior of a charming cabin is framed by tropical palm trees, showcasing a wooden structure with a front door and a small flight of steps. The cabin features large windows with shutters, and a simple porch area providing outdoor seating options.

Hawk's Nest - the way to relax - cabin # 1

MayaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Dena’s place was off the beaten path (literally) and we loved it! We enjoyed being a little far away from the city centre and getting to explore the island in a different way. Dena provided bikes and that made it a breeze to get around to see and do everything we wanted on the island.
A welcoming entrance sign for Hidden Haven is prominently displayed, featuring colorful flowers and a butterfly against a scenic backdrop. Lush greenery surrounds the sign, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere of the cabana's entrance.

Therapy Cabin 2 at St. George's Caye

JeffRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

Parrot Nest Treehouse 1 (Gold Standard)

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Parrot Nest was a jungle oasis! We stayed in the room nestled in a guanacaste tree with howler monkeys right above! Amazing hospitality from Theo, great local food, yoga and birdwatching from the comfortable deck during the day and watching fireflies at night were all part of the highlights of this trip.

Long Term Stay in the country Not for Sissies

MarkRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Had a great stay with Bart! Great guy, I’d strongly suggest spending some time with him, and take part in some of his side work. I went to several festivals with him selling flavored ice, awesome to experience the different cultures, from a Mennonite rodeo, to a tilapia festival in creole country, couple La Ruda Maya events! Great eggs, something about the frying pan, but boy were they good. Nothing special about the rental, simple, but very entertaining watching the wildlife, and chickens on the back deck, watch your roommates fly out of the eaves, and comeback in the morning! Take buddy for a walk every morning, but watch Rexy, he’ll try and give you a smooch! I loved my stay there, and would definitely do it again, but you gotta be an outdoor camping type! You’re not at the Hilton! Barb was in the states, so I didn’t personally see her long, but she always returns text, and checks in on you regularly. Quiet, and comfortable for my type of person! Enjoy, and relax!!

One BDR Cabana w/ full kitchen and pool - Conch

LesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The one bedroom cabana was well equipped for a longer stay. It was comfortable and had easy access to the pool and deck, which are shred with 3 other cabanas. Our host, property manager and cleaner were all responsive and quick to fix any problems. A new bbq was added while we were there giving us a great way to prepare the fresh seafood found locally. The location is a short walk from the centre of the village, close enough for easy access to the many great restaurants and bars, but far enough out to avoid the bustle of the tourist area. Caye Caulker is a laid back community with a mix of locals, snowbirds and short term visitors. Beaches are a bit limited, but one soon finds a swimming hole that suits them. We would recommend Tropical Dreams to anyone looking for a good base from which to explore the island.

Caye Caulker Cottage. Studio with loft.

BradleyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wendy was a fantastic host. Gave us tips for getting to the island, suggested spots to check out and eat and also told us about a new yoga place near by. Wendy’s suggestions helped make our trip great. The little cabin is small but exactly as described in the listing. Bed was cozy and the air conditioning kept the place comfortable and cool. The location is close to the airport and a little outside of the main town area but it was nice and quiet and only a short walk or bike ride to the main strip in town. The little plunge pools out front are a great place to cool off after a morning of scuba diving and the decks get plenty of sun throughout the day. Wendy’s son also rents bikes for the day if you need more than one which is very convenient and helped us explore the island a little more. Can’t wait to come back and visit Caye Caulker.

Mariel's place was absolutely gorgeous! The detail to the finish woodwork was incredible and absolutely beautiful! Mariel was quick with every response and supplied us with a delivery service that could bring us dinner as we had not rented a car in this area. The property is quiet and open directly onto the ocean. Easily 5 Stars! Thank you Mariel!

Firefly, The - Amazing Modern Tiny House with Pool

ChristopherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at the firefly while we attended a wedding on the island. The property was beautiful and private, and the unit itself was spacious and clean with everything we needed. The AC worked very well and kept the place cool throughout our stay. The included bikes were great to have to get to the main part of town and really made the stay more enjoyable.

We were extremely happy with the staff. Marina and her father Mr. A, they were nothing short of wonderful. Very helpful, friendly and took us in with open arms. They were very approachable, and gave us the red carpet treatment with anything we needed. The facility was very clean, and Marina was always available for anything we required. Hats off to them both!! We now consider them to be family. We did get a chance to meet, prior to our departure Joe and Laura, they were also very nice people. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like a nice relaxing atmosphere, amazing staff, very happy. Cant say enough about how amazing Marina and her Father were, very down to earth and just a pleasure to have met them.

We are so grateful for the time spent at this beautiful oasis - Special shout out to Gustavo - who was available from the moment we got off the boat. He hooked us up with the islands best golf cart option and gave plenty of recommendations. The Airbnb itself is easy to find but also very private. It felt like home and we cannot wait to come back!

Their place is just a bike ride from anything you want in Hopkins and they have bikes for guests to use. Would definitely book again!
