Stay in a castle setting, nature and tranquility

We had such a lovely long weekend strolling the grounds and observing the peacock flock. The house itself was well-appointed and made us feel right at home. We met Mr Charles, the landlord, who was gracious enough to share some of the history of the chateau and that of the generations that inhabited it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, as well as recommend it to friends. Truly a special place. There is also a larger apartment available if you are traveling with more guests. Thank you again, Mr. Charles!

My fiancee and i stayed with Maud over New Years Eve. From the start she was very responsive and helpful. The place is amazing with fantastic views of of the country and great amenities. The hot tub and spa are a really nice touch and Maud is very helpful and instructive with how to make things work. On New Years Eve there was even a private firework display in the garden which was wonderful. Can't recommend the place or the host high enough. Thank you.

We spent the holidays in Castel Bodeux and have had a very nice time. The house is located in a beautiful private park (where the manager also lives), overlooking the nearby hills. There is a tennis park + swimming pool (not used in winter) and nearby it is nice hiking and biking. The house itself is spacious enough for a large group (and warm!) Upon entering, there is a large connected dining room with bar on the right, on the left a sitting room, which turns into a pool room, a room with a foosball table, the sauna and finally the kitchen (which is much more spacious than the photos suggest). The bedrooms are different in size; some are large, others smaller, but the beds are fantastic and there are towels + bedding. With children, the rooms are a little noisy, but that's not strange for such a beautiful old house! One point: the cooking utensils (especially knives/cutlery) are a bit outdated. We love to cook with our group and especially missed good knives

The private house is located on a protected area in the forest. Quiet, secluded , overlooking forest clearings from windows. We really liked it. The house itself is old, but restored and well-maintained. If you want to plunge into the mysterious atmosphere of a cabin in the forest, you'll love it. It is easy to get there by car, there is also a parking space. Recommended)

It is a fantastic castle in the middle of the heart of the Ardennes. The beds, kitchen and bathroom are top. Furthermore, within a little 10 minutes you are in Dinant, where you all have nice restaurants. It is definitely worth the money to stay with a group of friends in this castle! Unfortunately, it was unfortunate that you couldn't go to the top turret. It still needs to be renovated.

Went here with 7 of my friends. After recieving very clear instructions as to how to get to the castle, we met with Diane who thoroughly went over the rules and on top of that she gave us a very pleasant look into her family and its relationship with the castle. The place itself was even better than expected with a beautifull and huge gaden all to ourselves. I definitly recommend visiting Rolley, its the perfect spot for walking, talking and more.

The Nuts Cocoon was a really unique experience. Nobody was at the castle so we had the grounds to ourselves. The place is really private and also close to town. The views of the grounds are amazing. A couple of quick notes: We found parking and finding the key a bit confusing at first though we figured it out. Also in the notes we noticed after we had bought some groceries that they do not allow cooking in the kitchen. It is quite unfortunate, otherwise excellent stay.

If you are looking for an original and authentic place in Flanders, this is your place. The environment is unparalleled with large areas to walk among nature and beautiful buildings, a navigable river and a lake at the door of the house and quiet streets with supermarkets, restaurants and local bars. The house is just as shown in the photos, spacious and comfortable as seen in the photos. We personally rested well because we were tired of spending the day out visiting cities, but it is true that the house is at the foot of a cobbled road that makes the cars rumble and sound as they pass. As well as the church's bell tower, which is quite close. Although it wasn't a problem for us, it even had its charm. We arrived late because of the traffic and Dimitri kindly waited for us to arrive, we talked for a while and he recommended places and ways to visit them.

We loved our time at Géraud and Elisabeth's place. It is even more beautiful than in the pictures, the breakfast is delicious with delicious local products. We were there from Monday to Thursday and have relaxed wonderfully. Soon we had our own routine with a small walk in the yard in the morning and evening. Our timing was perfect, spring shows and with it also the forest hyacinths that conjure everything purple, also in the nearby park where you can take a wonderful walk. In the evening, take a bath or read a book by the fireplace. We felt completely at home and enjoyed the company!

Yury was a good host. Was a nice location to stay with a group! Yury was very quick to respond to the messages and flexible. He also thought about activities in the region.

If you are planning a stay in or near the Ardennes, the. Look no further. Centrally located within all the great things to see in the region, this home is one of the more spectacular I have ever had he chance to use via airbnb. The chateau and its property are beautiful and the hosts are helpful, very friendly and welcoming. Inside is well presented and will provide you with a cosy and warm environment. The smaller room for the kids was LOVED by our two and they even have a cupboard with toys and games for a rainy day in. Highly recommend!

We stayed with 7 people and a baby for a weekend in Le Tulipier. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal. The stay is easy to reach via public transport (Waremme train station within walking distance), although a car is easy for transportation to walks in the (nearby) area. The accommodation was equipped with everything for a weekend and for the baby. In addition, it was also very quiet.

We only stayed briefly in this beautiful home. We were made to feel very welcome and shown every comfort and consideration.

Very large and comfortable acacia room. Great location for a weekend in Ghent. The hosts are very attentive, gave us plenty of good places and the possibility of renting bikes was much appreciated to go quickly to the city center. We enjoyed the house and its decor . Quiet place, we saw one of the squirrels in the neighborhood. Amazing breakfast with homemade products.

Cute castle in a great location with lots of space. Very large pool and tennis court. Beautiful barbecue and large tables for eating, both inside and outside. Bedroom nice, beds good. Kitchen was not quite clean, but the amenities were very good for the number of people. Lots of refrigerators, two dishwashers. This was very handy.

Ideal accommodation for 10 people. Plenty of bedrooms and spacious living room. Wonderful region to go for a walk. Away from all the hustle and bustle, we completely relaxed here. Nature and silence on an impressive domain. Hostess and host were very helpful. Smoothly checked in at foreseen hour. Foreseen check out time of 10 am we didn't have to follow and were able to stay quietly until the eve.
