We had a lovely stay enjoying foodie places recommended by Jay Rayner in Tynemouth, North Shields and walking the dog on fab beaches, particularly enjoying Druridge Bay. Fully recommend Riley's Fish Shack in King Edward's Bay and Omni cafe. Loved it and Caitlin was very prompt in communication. Faultless stay all round.

Wow, what can we say, Terri’s cottage is just perfect, so well thought out, steeped in history and the perfect place to come back to after exploring the most peaceful part of Northumberland. By perfect I mean, super comfy beds, wood burning fire, the most well equipped cottage we’ve stayed at and a lot more spacious than we had thought. Thanks so much for your hospitality , we’ll definitely be back..

We absolutely loved our stay here! Julie was so helpful and really went the extra mile to welcome us and make us feel right at home. Despite the cold weather, we didn’t feel it thanks to lots of extra blankets and clear instructions on how to operate the heating if we needed it. It was so easy to find thanks to really clear instructions and she checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. It was a lovely surprise to find the caravan decorated for Christmas too! We loved our stay and this caravan really made the trip perfect. I can’t recommend this caravan enough! This is the place for you if you’re looking for a lovely home from home in the north east. Me and my partner absolutely loved Nicola’s place! It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The hot tub was amazing and the Christmas tree was such a lovely surprise. The surrounding area is beautiful and a nice get away from a bustling atmosphere. Watching the moon with the telescope was very memorable. This is one of a kind, no complaints!

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

We stayed here for the weekend and what an amazing place! Very modern within walking distance to all the local restaurants and coffee shops! Perfect. Thank you.

We loved staying at Melanie’s place! It was the perfect place for us to stay whilst back visiting family in the North East. Melanie was very helpful and responsive to messages and decorated the house beautifully for Christmas. Cosy, peaceful stay and would definitely return. Thank you Melanie!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.
