Family-friendly vacation rentals in Beadnell Bay

We had an amazing weekend here. The place is really clean and with lots of things to do like the pool table or hot tub. Bill was very helpful with everything from checking times to fixing problems. We would definitely come again.

A fantastic property! We stay in many Airbnb’s and we’ve never been so happy with a stay.. very clean and tidy, great facilities and even a few welcome gifts! Emma was very professional and responsive in communications.. everything was perfect! We enjoyed the log burner, for which there were logs, kindling and firelighters ready to go! The hot tub was absolutely amazing.. it has lights that change colour and it was very easy to operate.. it was all ready to use, we loved it in the evenings! Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for self catering, great oven/hob, and spotlessly clean. On that note, we were exceptionally happy with the overall cleanliness of the property! Excellent bed linen, towels for the bathroom, and extra for the hot tub. The location is so peaceful and private, a true countryside gem! I could go on and on!.. Thank you, Emma for such a lovely and enjoyable romantic getaway! We will certainly be back! :)

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

Great location: in the quieter residential part of Amble, but only a few minutes walk to pubs, shops and places to eat. The house had everything we needed and the hosts have done a great job of creating a home-from-home vibe. Plenty of space and the hot tub was ideal after long days of walking and exploring the area. And the welcome items from Chris and Georgie were very welcome!

We had the most amazing stay at the hide, everything was thought about even to the last details. Hosts were lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal! Our favourite thing to do was to sit and relax in front of the beautiful scenery whilst our pooch explored the surroundings with a cup of tea in hand! Plenty to do not only within the surrounding areas but at the hide itself leaving you occupied at all times! We cannot wait to return next year and thank you again!

Just back from a lovely weekend away with the family and it was just what the doctor ordered. We arrived in total darkness and pouring rain to a toasty warm cabin which was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. Super location on the site down a little lane which was quiet and surrounded by woodland. The cabin itself was spotless and within no time the kids had picked their bedrooms and settled in. The cabin was a great base for exploring the North-East coast and after a days beach walking it was nice to come home and go for a soak in the hot-tub. The welcome pack a lovely unexpected bonus after a couple of hours drive. We will definitely return at some point in the future.

We decided to book the lodge for the weekend as a base due to there being five of us and wanting plenty of space. We were visiting for a 50th birthday at the Highlander Restaurant Ponteland. Number 44 did not disappoint and we found it very relaxing , with the hot tub being a bonus. Would definitely recommend . Thank you

I can't say enough nice things about our stay at Smithy's Cottage with Susan! We booked super last minute, and yet Susan was there to show us round and get us settled in. We had been travelling for a few days, staying in various locations, and this was the best sleep we had the whole time. Her place was so homely and welcoming, with everything you needed, it felt like staying at an auntie's house. An excellent stay with an excellent host! x

The cottage is just beautiful, everything had been well thought through with style and good taste. The kitchen was excellent with everything we could possibly need, the house was warm and cosy and the bed super comfy. Overall the location was an absolute dream - would recommend the Allenheads Inn if you’re walking that way. Normally we use airbnbs as a base to be out every day but with this cottage, we ended up wanting to spend time in, just enjoying the cottage. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. Super helpful and efficient before we arrived and the house was just what we were looking for. Really dog friendly with a secure lawned garden which was so useful and what we were looking for. Lots of information and advice in the cottage of things to do locally and plenty of games, DVDs etc for those wet days. Thank you for a great stay.

Me and my family had a lovely stay. Richard was helpful and responsive when we had questions. He accommodated our request for early check in and late check out. The house was lovely, full of period features and a nice peaceful location

We really enjoyed our time here. Jacqueline and Ronnie gave us a lot of useful local information, where to visit, where to eat etc. The treats that were left for us were so generous and way above anything we have received elsewhere. Thank you. The cottage is extremely well placed to visit Hadrian’s wall, the Sycamore Gap and Vindolanda.

The place was very peaceful and quite, a perfect getaway from past-paced environment. Scenic views within 5 minutes of walk. Not much to do around the area but could be a lot better during summer time.

Another lovely stay in Forge Cottage. The cottage was even more comfortable with new windows and updated kitchen and comfy sofa. A real rural gem !

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

We had such a relaxing time at honeymug, such a cosy place and the kids loved playing with the great variety of toys and enjoyed a variety of mini cereals and croissants left out by John, that was very kind, thanks! So many local walks, cafes, castles, coast and to top it off a hot tub and swimming pool. Very recommended, we'll hopefully be back.

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

Norma was a lovely, responsive and friendly hist. I sent her quite a few questions about the cottage and the area and she responded quickly and with lots of suggestions. The cottage was home from home . We went up to Kielder a couple of days from here and explored the local area. Would highly recommend. Thank you

The only thing that could make this caravan even better than it is would be a washing machine - There's nothing else that i can think of to make the holiday more perfect -The launderette was out of order during our stay but this wasn't the hosts fault, this was just a issue with the caravan site but these things happen. Beautiful views from the decking and the xbox was great entertainment for my eldest child. A bath was a bonus - especially when you have children :) A great base for exploring the area - would love to book again!

Thanks for a wonderful stay in your hideaway Maggie. It exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was amazing. It felt like a home from home and all we needed was food and drinks. The fire was on and the hot tub was warm on our arrival. Any questions Maggie responded straight away. The kids loved it too. We will be back in the future.

Tumbler Rocks was just as described. Just a short stroll across the dunes to the beach and an easy walk into Seahouses town. The house was very well equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. We stayed as a family of eight with two dogs and found it had ample space for all of us. Dogs enjoyed their early morning walks along the sandy beach and with the outside hose, paws were easily washed down! Plenty of eating places in the town and as a Coeliac found an excellent chip shop, Italian restaurant and Indian restaurant who could all provide gluten free choices for both sitting in and take away. Anthea was very approachable and helpful in answering any questions we had prior to and during our visit. Thank you for the use of your house for our family break.
