Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Great place to stay with astonishing views of Lake Taupo. The place is very modern with all the amenities. Only thing was that we wished the spa worked, other than that it was beautiful.

Put simply, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The Lakeside cottage was idyllic and quirky in all the right ways. Where else could you have an overflowing steaming hot bath, 15 feet from the lapping waves of the lake, heated by your very own log burner, whilst you watch the stars and the moon come out. My daughters and I were sad to leave, but it was a perfect location for the first few days of our holiday in New Zealand. Thank you, Carol and family, for making us feel so welcome.

Fabulous family and pet stay. Great space and location for the whole family. Lovely garden and layout of communal spaces for spending time together. Thanks for having us!

Great spot on Lake Taupo with a Greta view of the lake form the deck. Good spacious living area and kitchen too. We used Aimee's kayaks and spent some time one the lake too which was fabulous. Would highly recommend!

One cannot ask for a more peaceful setting to enjoy your time in Rotorua. Close enough to town, but also far enough... Beautiful home, loved the woodwork, didn't mind the cracking as the wood expand and contracts with the temp. Pity that some of the facilities weren't working/available due to previous guests, but otherwise a great home away from home.

Vicki was amazing, from start to finish.. i.e from the moment I booked ( months ago!) communication in between & eventual actual arrival/stay I had many an obstacle before the actual World Championships 70.3 Race ( actually, more than usual just getting to Taupo & a day late with just 1.5 days before the race!) but I will never forget her kindness, generosity & compassion ☘️ Would highly recommend this beautiful little place with gorgeous scenery!

We Airbnb often. We like to always leave a place better than we entered it. This was simply not the case for Stuart’s place. There was absolutely nothing to leave “better”. This beautiful, peaceful, meticulously decorated home was beyond our expectations and more. Every aspect of Stuart’s place was perfect. The cleanest Airbnb we have experienced. And I thought the flower arrangements were fake until the second night! Stuart adds a lot of little touches that other hosts overlook. And Stuart was the kindest host. Easy to chat with. And extremely responsive. We truly enjoyed meeting him and his pup, Bear. If we ever make it back from the States again, Stuart’s place will be on our list.

Cosy loft with a comfy bed to lay in & watch the rain come down or listen to the surrounding birds. Perfect private stay if you have an event on at Lake Okareka or nearby. Was exactly what I needed for the weekend to attend a wedding. Only addition I was looking for was a pen & paper but just so I could leave a note of thanks to Susie 😊

Ideal place for couple or two adults to stay. Right next to Taupō CBD while still being quiet Unit is in excellent condition, everything works. Lloyd is a really proactive host, instructions are clear and the whole experience was ‘minimum of fuss’

We had a wonderful stay at Nigel's place! The home was impeccably tidy and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat in a quiet location surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape, yet only a few minutes' drive from Rotorua. Nigel was a fantastic host, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

We really enjoyed our stay. Although the living area was small, it had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the outdoor shower. Great to have a short walk to Lake Tarawera for some paddle boarding and enjoyed a lovely stroll around the edge of the lake. The views from the top of the section were stunning. Had a great time in the Rotorua area mountain biking and also a special treat white water rafting. Thanks Ange.

We had a great stay. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. It is thoughtfully set up, the decor is beautiful, the lake view lovely. Everything felt clean and fresh and calming. The hosts were communicative and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this property.

We stayed to compete in a triathlon in Taupo.Zara's house was very nice, had everything we needed, and was elegant and tasteful. I would like to stay more slowly.I had a good memory with my wife. Thank you!

Juliet was a lovely host. Totally recommend this charming little two bedroom house. So clean and well appointed. Nice little walk to the beer garden which has amazing food and a massive craft beer selection.
