‘Fancy Like’ - Dog Friendly (no kids please)

I have converted my downstairs bonus room into a comfortable private living space. Guests have their own entry door from the outside. I live on a deep water canal with boat dock, and am 1/2 mile from the local boat ramp. You may use the dock space and there is plenty of room to park your trailer or boat and trailer. Storage space for hunting and fishing equipment too! Guests have their own private bath, and kitchen AREA with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. No kitchen sink or range.

Beautiful and peaceful cottage in the heart of the quaint city of Belhaven, on the Pungo River. Spend your days boutique shopping in town, watching the sunset over the water at the harbor. Great local fishing and wildlife refuges. Enjoy the riverfront beach in town. Spend your evenings dining on the large screened back porch and cooking on the grill. The cottage sits on the property of the historic Coor-Cook residence (c. 1790), known as the "Stanley Hospital, Officer's Ward" during the Union Army occupation of New Bern. Built in 1913, this historic site was originally the Norfolk-Southern Cafe. In the 1930s, the building was the site of grocery stores and meeting spaces, eventually becoming a popular coffee shop called "The Coffee Caboose". The space was converted into a private house, located steps from the waterfront and downtown dining and shopping. We sincerely invite you to come and enjoy our waterfront town.
