We had a fabulous stay in beautiful Beatrice Cottage. Loved it. Grace left us a generous thoughtful welcome pack. The cottage was tastefully furnished, warm and cosy. Area was excellent. Views of castle, walk to village, not far from beach. The icing on the cake was having the River Coquet on our doorstep. Sat of a morning with a cuppa on one of the benches. We were blessed with 5 days of sunshine. Would highly recommend Beatrice Cottage.

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely house in Amble. It was a short walk to the shops and restaurants in the town and we visited a number of the places that were recommended in the arrival information and had great meals at them all. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!

Absolutely lovely lodge in a great location to explore Northumberland. Grandparents staying and a grandchild to amuse for a few days. The pub and site is very friendly. The lodge is very cosy. Has everything you need for a homely stay. Perfectly sited next to the lake. Was visited daily by the swans and geese which the granddaughter loved. The hot tub was amazing to end a busy day visiting tourist spots. Diane the host was easily contactable should we need her, which we didn’t as everything was as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dianne. Look forward to staying again.

Fantastic 4 night stay at BelleRose cottage. Great detail provided by Carolyn who was helpful prior to arrival and during our stay . Great recommendations for food and places to visit. Spot on location for exploring the coast and inland . Loved the welcome pack such a nice touch and milk in the fridge after a long journey was very welcome. We wanted for nothing and we will hopefully be back . Thank you so much

Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Michael as he was away but we did meet the lovely Carol who was there on our arrival. We had a brilliant 2nt stay in the Partridge Hut. It was exactly the same as the photos. A comfortable bed and large powerful shower. It had everything you needed for such a compact space. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to use the outdoor seating and even got the fire pit going on the 1 nt. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong and the little bunnies hopping around. We ate at the Milecastle Inn which was recommended by Carol and was spot on and then had fish and chips at the Ocean takeaway in Haltwhistle the last nt. Hadrians Wall is just on your doorstep and the Lanercost Priory which is in walking distance from the hut. A great tearoom and gift shop there too. If you’re after a quiet and relaxing time, Michael’s place is perfect and we will definitely return.

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Lovely log cabin that was well equipped and pretty spacious for 4. Place was clean and Helen was very helpful and friendly. Good field for dog to run in and footpaths around the village and countryside for walks. Good views and peaceful location with lovely Allendale just 5 minute drive with some shops and pubs. Great hot tub. Short drive to Hadrian’s Wall sites and to Hexham - nice market town. Overall a great location to unwind and explore Northumberland.

This is lovely cottage to stay in and suited our needs perfectly. A good modern layout and well presented. There’s plenty to explore from the doorstep with a lovely harbour area and local restaurants well worthy of a visit. An easy walk leads you to miles of dog friendly golden sands. We had a lovely stay here. Me, my partner and dog felt right at home there was food and water bowls provided for our dog, towels provided for us, it was like home from home so cozy and so well decorated! We will definitely be returning when the weather gets nicer to enjoy the beach’s Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely stay at Lobster cottage. Plenty of space with three good size double bedrooms. Lounge space was really comfortable and the accommodation was an easy five minute walk into the centre of Alnwick. We got parked ok on the road outside, although it's a fairly busy road and cars do speed up and down on. Overall, a very comfortable house in a great location.

The property is absolutely stunning . spotlessly clean and beautiful decorated. The grounds are lovely and tge birdsong in the evening is something to behold Carrell is a lovely host and provided lots of bits and bobs for us such as milk Bread butter biscuits etc . We will definitely stay here again when up in this part of the country .

Nice house 100m from the sea, easy to walk out to harbour and coast. All clean, tidy, warm, had all we needed. Good local shops and restaurants. Amble is a small coastal town with a marina and a working harbour (fresh fish at the restaurant was superb).

We had a wonderful stay, Nigel & Jane were excellent, responsive hosts. The location is perfect and the house and kitchen have everything you could possibly need. The beaches ! What can you say about the beaches, watching the sunrise over the waves on a deserted beach truly is food for the soul.
