Can I rate the property 6 stars? It was so comfortable, peaceful and relaxing - exactly what we needed. But honestly the hosts were what really made the stay! From the recommendations prior to arrival to a personalised welcome gift for our son, and inviting him to come and meet their ducklings. Honestly the best hosts we have ever encountered and we hope to be back with our extended family in the future. Thank you!!

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

My partner and I had the most beautiful weekend away. It was so peaceful, the perfect place to sit back and relax. Jan was so friendly and made sure to show us all the amenities before leaving us to our own devices. Everything was clean and Jan made sure that there were some extra personal touches in the room to make it feel extra special. We had a fantastic time away and could not recommend this stay enough! Location and scenery was amazing!! The cabin was lovely and the hot tub was a highlight. A bit tricky to get up the driveway in my pathetic car but otherwise a perfect quiet get away.

Our stay was really lovely! The host, Will met us on arrival and was super friendly. Will made sure to let us know he was available anytime if we needed anything over the two night stay. The complementary bottle of red was a great touch. We enjoyed listening to the wild life and basking in the sense of serenity. The location was great for us, close enough to the coast. We would stay again

This is the second time I’ve stayed with Trish and Ian. The things that stand out for me are their generosity, delicious breakfast offerings, commitment to privacy and gracious hospitality. It is honestly a home away from home. The 5-min walk to the beach is relaxing and it’s conveniently close to shops and other beautiful walks. I also find it particularly convenient as a cyclist taking the Bellarine Rail Trail. Gǐte de Bais is absolutely perfect 🤩

Incredible stay. The hosts were super pro-active to share instructions as well as visual instructions which really helped. The place was spotless and had everything you could need & want. Beautiful, peaceful and easy to get into Apollo Bay.

Such a gorgeous, peaceful cabin, with the most incredible sunset right from the front deck. Comfy beds, clean and tidy, and bonus coffee machine! Lots of beautiful wildlife, central location to parks and waterfalls in the area. Michele, our host, was so helpful and happy to share information on hidden gems around the area! Highly recommend this beautiful stay.

Picture this; You’re watching the sunrise from the veranda with your cuppa, listening to the birds sing you a good morning song. Or you’re rugged up after dinner with a glass of wine in front of the fire watching your favourite show. My partner and I had the most romantic getaway this weekend at Fiona’s farm cottage, it was absolutely beautiful being hidden away in nature for a few days. I can’t recommend it enough! Friendly and helpful host, she even got everything prepared for the fire so we could get cozy at soon as we checked in late on Friday. Would happily come back here.

Cosy and comfortable stay, great for a relaxing weekend in or as a base for local adventures. Great value with close proximity to nearby towns and walking distance to the local general store and brewery. Well kitted out, more so than we expected! All the necessities in the kitchen, pod coffee machine, plenty of glassware, mugs, dishes etc. Plenty of additional comforts (washer, dryer, iron + ironing board, hair dryer, plenty of blankets and towels, board games), with actually comfortable beds and linens - loved the loft bedroom. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was the same experience as the first time . It isn’t a fancy over done pretty over the top cottage where you can’t relax, it is a really neat and tidy rustic little place, lots of room for the dog to play and everything you need for a stay. Nothing is fancy but all the things you need are there and are just right. The lack of signs saying “don’t do” is such a relief. We really like staying at this little place, it is great and very relaxing.

I really enjoyed staying in the Bungalow. It was very well appointed, clean, private and self contained with an outlook onto a pretty garden. I was in Geelong to visit friends living close by, so not being in the centre of the city was a bonus. That said, the bungalow was only a few minutes walk from shops and a major bus route, running straight into the CBD in one direction, and Deacon Uni in the other direction. All in all, I would be happy to stay here again when next in Geelong

I booked Simon and Emma’s place on behalf of my in-laws who were visiting from the UK - they had a wonderful time at your place! They commented on the beautiful surroundings and loved hearing all of the wildlife surrounding the house. The proximity to the Great Ocean Road, the Otways and nearby beaches made it such a wonderful base for their trip. We’d love to return with our family and friends to enjoy all the area has to offer!

Anna and Libby have a fantastic place… it is ideally situated for the beach with a lovely walk on the beach to the shops. The decor and the space was so tastefully done. The outdoor shower was brilliant as was the skylight. The incense stick was a lovely touch ….

Had a very nice and comfortable stay in Ocean Grove, place was peaceful and well situated for doing activities on the Bellerine Peninsula

James' place is amazing. Very clean and we felt right at home. We felt safe enough for the kids to go off themselves to the park and all the other amenities that this place has for kids. James was super responsive and helpful We wouldn't hesitate again to stay at James place thank you

The cabin is so cute, roomy inside, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully-equipped - we felt right at home! Beautiful scenery, close to tourist attractions like twelve apostles and great ocean rd, but the location itself is peaceful and tranquil. The very friendly horses and donkeys were a bonus! Melinda was a fantastic host, respectful and responsive, and her recommendations and local knowledge was a big plus. Thank you for a lovely weekend getaway Melinda! Highly recommend.

Great little find in a great location in close proximity to lots of lovely wineries. Nice private space and great outdoor area. Very clean and tidy with great communication from Jo. Thanks for having us :)
