Can I rate the property 6 stars? It was so comfortable, peaceful and relaxing - exactly what we needed. But honestly the hosts were what really made the stay! From the recommendations prior to arrival to a personalised welcome gift for our son, and inviting him to come and meet their ducklings. Honestly the best hosts we have ever encountered and we hope to be back with our extended family in the future. Thank you!!

We had a fantastic stay at Marshall's place! The house was perfect—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Communication with Marshall was swift and seamless, making the whole experience even better. We especially loved the fire pit, which added a cozy touch to our evenings. Highly recommend staying here—would definitely return!

Great house, great location, we had rain for the time we were staying and there was enough room in the house to ensure our family didn't get cabin fever.

Staying at Mark and Kate’s place was an absolute dream! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with every thoughtful detail to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The high-tech features added a touch of luxury, and the board games were a delightful treat for the kids. The breathtaking view of Apollo Bay was the cherry on top, creating a serene and magical ambiance. What made it even better was the location—this place is the perfect spot to explore all the beautiful attractions along the Great Ocean Road. Loved the cottage. Amazing views as described if not better. Small walk to the ocean. Short drive to Apollo bay shops. Lovely fire place and Ellie provided just that little extra to make you feel at home (towels, shampoo, milk, coffee, tea, dishwashing liquid and laundry liquid). Highly recommend and would not second think booking this place again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was the same experience as the first time . It isn’t a fancy over done pretty over the top cottage where you can’t relax, it is a really neat and tidy rustic little place, lots of room for the dog to play and everything you need for a stay. Nothing is fancy but all the things you need are there and are just right. The lack of signs saying “don’t do” is such a relief. We really like staying at this little place, it is great and very relaxing.

This house is beautifully located with an excellent host who is responsive and proactive. The house is very comfortable and well set out in a lovely garden setting. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the shops and general store. I wouldn’t hesitate renting this house again as it’s so good for families and in a great position. We loved waking up to the birds and sounds of the sea!
