We stayed here over New Year and it was the perfect place for a chilled celebration. The location is great, close to Harrogate, Ripon and Skipton for day trips and there are plenty of walks on the doorstep. The house was so tidy when we arrived and the hosts made us feel welcome with a cake and champagne on arrival.

This is a lovely place to stay just far enough out of the main bit of knaresborough but only a 5 min walk in. Beautifully presented accommodation with so many nice touches and a few extras in the fridge and for breakfast. Clive and Julie were nice and friendly and helpful. I’d 100% recommend a stop here - you’ll love it. Keep an eye open for deer, kingfishers and otters in the river , none spotted for us but hopefully more luck when we return….

If peace and quiet, amazing scenery and great walks are what you’re looking for then this is the cottage for you. Sedbusk is a picturesque village in the Yorkshire Dales. There are walks from the cottage in all directions. The house is very well equipped and very warm and cosy. Shops and pubs are a short five minute drive away in Hawes. We had a lovely stay over New Year but I bet it’s also amazing in summer.

Lovely house - perfect for spending family time together. Really peaceful location, this coupled with the very comfy beds, meant we slept really well, the perfect start to the new year! Lots of space, 2 sitting areas and a large kitchen meant we could enjoy time together without feeling we were on top of one another. 3 great pubs in the village that serve good food and very close to Clitheroe for supermarkets/shops.

This was the ideal place to stay with our grown up children and their partners for a family party elsewhere. The house is warm and comfortable and very spacious, accommodating all of us easily, including the dog. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and if we had needed to cook meals there would have been no issue. The only slight disappointment is the bath: it looks amazing but is a metal structure and the hot water just isn’t hot enough to keep the bath hot. Not really an issue as there is also a more than adequate shower. The house is within minutes walk of good pubs and local shops and for me the added bonus was the proximity to the church. The chimes might annoy some but for me they brought back happy memories of staying at my Grandma’s house just around the corner as a child.

Had the most wonderful stay! The staff were so lovely and helpful when we had to check in quite late and the lodge was gorgeous and the hot tub so lovely! I was worried about the cabins being close together and wanting privacy but it’s all so well thought out and laid out, I barely noticed there was anyone else around! Nearly cried when I was the deer strolling around! The restaurant on site is delightful, great food lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Dog LOVED it and great to have an enclosed patio for him! We will be back 💖
