We are nestled down a long gravel drive with quiet neighbors. The main floor bedroom (queen bed) accesses a screened sitting area. The downstairs bedroom (walkout basement) has twin beds and futon chair (single). We are 5 miles from the village, 2.5 miles from Acadia Visitor Center, and .5 miles from an Explorer stop.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, secluded cabin! It was warm and welcoming, even during the chilly April weather. The location was perfect—just a 40 minute drive to Acadia National Park. It’s a great spot for families and dog-friendly too, which made it even better for us. Brady was such a kind and responsive host—quick to communicate and very helpful. Highly recommend!

We are a family of five with three teens. The space was perfect for us to all hang out together and play a board game at the dining table, as well as spread out and have plenty of down time in our own rooms. I thought it was a nice touch that the front door was open and the keys were in the kitchen. Great to have bathrooms in each of the rooms. When we were planning our trip, we weren't 100 percent sure if our pet care person was going to be available, and Sarah was very responsive and flexible with us asking if we could add our dogs at the last minute. We didn't need to bring them, but it was so helpful to know that we could. We bot a huge box of pastries from Clark Point Cafe, and we would have gone back and sat down for a full breakfast if they had been open on our second morning. I guess that gives us an excuse to come back! The back yard view is private and beautiful. So much to like about our stay. Hard to fit it all in here. Thanks to Sarah and her family for everything.

Renovated Bar Harbor Cottage just blocks from town

This is our 4Th time at Margaret's home, so obviously we like it. The location is excellent, you can choose from probably 25-30 restaurants within a 10-15 minute easy walk. Acadia National Park, the real reason to be in Bar Harbor is only about a 5-8 minute drive away. Her house is spotless and very well equipped, great kitchen with every type of cooking accessory you would ever need, great knives, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and more. Unlike many rental homes, she gives you plenty of dish soap, toilet paper, kitchen garbage bags and paper towels Bathroom is very spacious and well appointed, fluffy soft towels and plenty of them for all, we had a party of 3. The furniture and seating is ample and very comfortable with plenty of options on where to sit without being on top of each other. All in all, one of the top 3 places I have rented for vacation and believe me, I have rented very many across the Globe!

Staying here to go into Acadia NP was the best decision of our whole trip. The place was clean and well cared for, and Renee and partner were super friendly. Renee had a ton of little things in the apartment that made the trip/stay so much better. She clearly thought this through very well. My family and I had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again if in the area.
