House vacation rentals in Bangor

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Angel’s place for Thanksgiving! The area was fun to explore as well.

Home was as described. Host were very accommodating as we had to extend our stay multiple times . Bed was very comfortable. Home had everything we needed and then some. A very relaxing and inviting environment made us feel right at home.

A beautiful home base for the convention in Bangor. We would definitely stay again. Natalia was extremely responsive. The heaters were on before we arrived to this cozy little home.

I had a good experience staying at Jeanne’s. Everything was as described and comfortable. She checked in with me on my arrival and departure dates and I had no issues with the house.

This house was spacious, clean and perfect for a quick trip. Only about 1 hour from Acadia which was our main purpose. Short driving distance to stores and restaurants. It was exactly as advertised.

We loved our stay. The apartment was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. It had everything you need to cook meals and having the washer and dryer was a bonus especially when hiking. There was even laundry detergent. I would definitely stay here again. It was about 30 minutes to Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor had so many restaurants and shops. Loved the coffee shop Flexit Cafe in Ellsworth. Amazing breakfast sandwiches.

Casa Gris was a wonderful place to stay at for our vacation to Acadia national park. It was only a 10 minute drive to the park. The house was well kept, had great amenities and an awesome tv set up. 10/10 would recommend for the price and opportune location.

Melissa was extremely responsive and accommodating in general as well as with some special need requests we had. She showed true care and concern for our comfort and happiness with the home and during our stay. The home was perfect for our needs and allowed us to enjoy family gatherings throughout the holidays. Terras home was great, and was exactly as described and pictured. The only very minor problem we had ended up being the evening fog triggering a smoke alarm, but her and her husband were more than willing to run right over to check it out before we realized. Her welcome basket gave us plenty of ideas of what to do and where to go. She even has a pack and play, high chair, stroller and hiking baby carrier if you forget yours or need to save space. Really just a great home on magical island wonderland for anyone who enjoys the ocean and the out doors.

This place was absolutely cozy and charming! It was easy to find, and the hot tub area felt private and was perfect for the chilly weather during my stay. The fireplace added to the warm and inviting atmosphere, and I loved the thoughtful decor. If you're looking for a great meal nearby, I highly recommend the Mushroom Stacchati at Delvino’s—it was fantastic!

Second time back so far , absolutely always an amazing stay with Joseph , Stephanie and their team. Love the addition of a sauna this was the perfect getaway for me and my mom! You will not be disappointed with the space, amenities , and general necessities .They have planned and stocked the home with everything you will need for a big family of 16 including a plethora of games for the little ones ! Amazing hosts with a beautiful family that continuously works to help the underserved !

The place is great, low key neighborhood. The unit was clean and cozy. The hot tub was awesome and I would imagine the pool would be just as nice if our visit was not during February! Will definitely think about going again when a night or two away is wanted.

My family of 7 (2 adults, 5 children) had a fabulous stay at the Liberty Luxe. The home is stunning and has a TON of space to spread out. The pool room (with hot tub, televisions and surround sound) was the highlight of our stay. The pool was HUGE and the space was always toasty warm. Our four year old who is typically cold, was more than comfortable in the always 86 degree water. Whatever you do, be sure to get up to watch the sunrise!!! Breathtaking would be an understatement.

The house itself is beautiful, with great attention to detail, and we felt so comfortable during our time there. My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

We had a great stay at this house! Plenty of beds for everyone. Convenient to get to Acadia and bar harbor with a short drive!
