Excellent host, nice and friendly family, wonderful foods, and, finally, highest level of hospitality was presented to us. We specially would like to mention about the little younger daughter of our host. This lovely child made our stay more pleasant, enjoying and unforgettable. We highly recommend this abnb for staying in Ella. If we would come here again, no doubt, this abnb would be our first choice.

This place is absolutely stunning, we felt so peaceful to be immersed in nature and feel very lucky we got to stay here. The team are so helpful and friendly, I had a bad headache on one of the evenings and they brought me some ginger tea which was delicious. The accommodation was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. We loved all the unique wooden furniture and waterfall shower while being so close to the natural waterfall. You can watch the birds and stars from the nets which is wonderful! Close to Ella town and the team are happy to help with a tuk tuk ride down the track. We hope to come back one day! Thank you for an amazing stay.

We had a great stay at Saffron cottage, extremely beautiful place and stunning surroundings. Sadly the weather was really bad..... Obviously no ones fault and we are used to it being from the UK but we were unprepared so would say if you're heading to Ella maybe pack a jumper and a rain coat.

Moksha’s place was beautiful, quiet, out of the city noise of main town Ella + a short TukTuk ride into town at a very reasonable price. Moksha had an on property TukTuk driver which was amazing. He extended extreme hospitality to my friend and I and even went out of his way to sort a generator when the power went out in the city. Moksha served us an incredible breakfast both days. We truly enjoyed our stay with Moksha and we hope you do too! :-)

We loved our rooms in the trees. They are very beautiful and comfortable. In the bathroom, beautiful view of the little adam's peak. We saw a lot of animals, many birds, monkeys, I was lucky enough to see the giant squirrel that passed on my terrace twice, I also had 2 calao that landed in front of my window. Breakfast and dinner are good and hearty. Our hosts were very receptive to our various requests. The tuk tuk is on site, which is convenient for getting around.

This is an incredibly beautiful villa. Nature, the sound of rain, birds and leaves in the wind. The house has two very large, comfortable and clean bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a huge balcony. It's just for me. The owner prepared a lemon mixture for me because I had a cold. When I asked for a tuk-tuk to go to the city center, he said he was leaving in a minute, if you want I can drop you off. It would be a complete mistake to come to Ella and look for another place to stay. It's the only place to rest after the train ride from Candy to here.

This airbnb was a highlight of our trip. Came here to hike devil’s staircase to the waterfall. The view through the valley and all the way out to Udawalawe national park is stunning. And the staff there were so attentive always offering tea and offering to pack a breakfast when we were going on a hike early in the AM which was really helpful. The room was simple and clean and cool at night due to being in the mountains. Cool enough i wore a sweater outside. Food was delicious, sri lankan dinner was one of our best on the trip. They also provided insider knowledge on local hikes which was great when we had an extra morning and wanted to get one more hike in. Note that it is not easy to get to! Recommend either hiring an SUV or being dropped at the train station and going the rest of the way by tuk tuk which can handle the uneven road and steep decline much better. Overall highly recommend
