Lorraine’s apartment was fantastic. Very modern, beautifully furnished with high quality furniture. Both the kitchen and bathroom are very modern and very well equipped.Everything you need for a couple to stay whether that be for a weekend or a longer stay. Situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness. Ideal for shopping, bars & restaurants. There is a Spar shop just across the road for any essential you need. Check in was simple given the very clear instructions we received. Any questions we had were answered very promptly. I would 100% recommend this property. It’s ideal for a couple or single traveler.

Nick was very helpful at all times, very quick responding to any questions I had! Very easy to find, easy to get in and out of rooms with the instructions. The 2 separate rooms worked really well for us! Lovely stay and great location

Really enjoyed our stay. Host had thought of everything you could need. Very quiet location with own parking space. Would highly recommend. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

Had a lovely one night stay in the annex, it has beautiful views and is very private. Victoria greeted us on arrival, she was very friendly and helpful, pointing us to the best local takeaways when we asked. It was unfortunately raining very hard when we got there and was quite windy but we didnt let that stop us enjoying the hot tub! It's probably better to go over the summer as it was already dark when we checked in so we didnt get to appreciate the view properly as we were only there for one night and checked out at 10am. Regardless, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful little getaway.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Gill Cottage, would definiately recommend and hope to return in the future. Excellent location and the photos dont do it justice. Sofa and beds very comfortable and the living area is nice and spacious. It is also kept toasty warm. If I was very VERY picky it would be nice to have had a couple of little touches like a dish rack for washing up and blankets for the sofa and maybe some festive fairy lights etc at this time of year but as I say these are tiny things. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Herdwick House was perfect for our trip to the Lakes for a week, in total there was 7 of us and we had plenty of space as well as a very well equipped kitchen for cooking most nights. The place was very clean and modern, it looks like it’s been renovated very recently. It is on a working farm so the animals are all around and the dogs like to bark, but you get used to them quickly. The only thing I would say is that because you’re on a farm you can’t really sit outside and eat on the large patio at the back, which we had planned, as the farm smell was very ripe 🤭 but it didn’t hinder our stay at all. Location is also brilliant for the North Lakes (15 mins to Keswick/ Derwentwater and Ullswater) and off the A66 so also close to Penrith for any necessities. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend, especially for larger groups.

Brilliant stay, a few of us work locally but live over an hour away so this was a convenient stay after a day of Christmas work events and a team meal. Lovely and clean, easy to check in.

Beautiful cottage set in a picturesque village 💕 Scenic local walks for us and the dogs 🐕 A home from home, very cozy with the log burner and outdoor hot tub. Jen and Jim couldn't do enough for us! Booked in with Jen for holistic therapies and it was the best massage I've ever had! We will definitely be back! x

The best stay we’ve had at an AirB&B, the house was absolutely lovely and super clean and tidy. Alison was a brilliant host and helped us with everything for my birthday stay. We were able to get in touch easily and it was very easy to find, would definitely recommend staying here, such a perfect cottage !

2nd visit to Tom's place and the stay was a good as the last. Excellent facilities; very comfortable & exceptional views across the bay. Would highly recommend this place and sure we will return

Amazing stay - home was spotless and everything you wanted and needed was there. The booklet with guidence on accommodation and what’s around went above and beyond with every detail covered. Beds was so Comfy with pillows soft and luxurious feel. Kitchen had all that you needed including a cool coffee machine. Can’t give anything other than 5 stars and will I’m sure return on next visits to the gorgeous Lake District

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

What an absolute gem of a place. Gorgeous,spacious,clean,2 bed apartment. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil and appliance you would need. Beds very comfortable. Travel cot and high chair available too,hope to return some day

Perfect for a family with two children. Lovely comfy beds and ample towels and blankets. The living room was very homely and spacious. We didn't use the kitchen for dining but it had everything you could need if needing to prepare food. The host was friendly and helpful on arrival and departure. The property has a secure parking lace at the back, which is great. The best aspect is the location. The tower, shopping mall and seafront can be walked easily in 5 minutes. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back in the summer at Nic's flat.

This was even better than the pictures. Great location wish I’d had more time there. 2 days was not enough.
