Vacation rentals with a patio in Backbarrow

A very enjoyable stay within very easy reach of towns, mountains, lakes and hills of The Lake District with our car. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, well maintained and equipped with adjustable heating controls, all of which were very much appreciated. The balcony is delightful to sit or stand on and enjoy sunrise and sunset even on a frosty morning, which was glorious! Jen was a helpful and communicative host, who even checked in via a message during our stay to see that everything was going well. The bed and bedding is pristine and the towels are luxuriously thick and spa like! We had a perfect stay and highly recommend this accommodation to others. We didn’t use the sports facilities as the weather was wonderful and we spent so much time outdoors, but they looked great and had the weather been less pleasant we would certainly have done so. We visited over the Christmas / New Year period and the tasteful Christmas decorations added to the overall experience. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay, it was a shame we couldn't stay longer this time! Lovely apartment, very clean and quiet and ideally located for walking into Bowness on Windermere and for visiting surrounding area. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a fantastic stay here, the accommodation was clean, big, homely, with a really comfy bed. We were staying in Center Parcs for the weekend and due to bad weather came a night early and booked into Karen’s place. So pleased we did, it was only a 10 min drive to Center Parcs, so we got a full days activities in once we got there and didn’t have the worry about driving over in bad weather. Karen was really helpful during our stay, and went above and beyond to help us, with prompt responses. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the apartment. Was absolutely perfect for what we needed as a family. Was definitely the most comfortable stay I have had in blackpool. Has a beautiful large balcony but unfortunately it was very windy so we did not get to use it. I felt very safe here with gate and door lock codes being required. Lots of towels provided. Has everything you could possibly need. I would like to have been able to hoover before I left but it’s understandable that one is not provided. Also due to us only having takeaways during our stay we had some rubbish that I would have liked to have disposed of myself but I had no idea where larger bins would be. Would love to book again when I return to Blackpool.

Great spot for our family’s two week winter stay in Ulverston. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants, off street parking, warm, and felt at home. Highly recommend for a short or long stay. Friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks John.

Alison’s Airbnb is genuinely one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Exceptionally clean, incredibly homely and the fizz on arrival was a lovely touch. Also worth mentioning the fresh coffee and milk in the fridge for when we arrived. Perfect location, just off the main road so it’s lovely and quiet but close enough to easily walk to the local amenities, restaurants etc. The property itself is decorated to an incredible standard, with everything you need to a few days away, and more!

We had an amazing time at Stephen's house. There's everything what you need for a short or longer stay. Beds are very comfortable, house is warm, large kitchen. House is located in residential area, walkable distance to main Blackpool attractions. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay while visiting the country for the first time. Great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing and attending the local event that brought us to the area. Location was convenient and we found it very easy to get around by car. Amazing views to top it off.

Apartment was incredible! Looks great on pictures, but even better in person. Very private and peaceful with a luxury feel and hot tub was very nice in the cold weather. Owen was responsive and friendly, giving clear instructions to make the experience seamless for us. Definitely recommend this place, had an amazing time!

Amazing stay - home was spotless and everything you wanted and needed was there. The booklet with guidence on accommodation and what’s around went above and beyond with every detail covered. Beds was so Comfy with pillows soft and luxurious feel. Kitchen had all that you needed including a cool coffee machine. Can’t give anything other than 5 stars and will I’m sure return on next visits to the gorgeous Lake District

Great stay, Kevin was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The only downside is that the kitchen has no heating and therefore it got very cold. Kevin brought a portable heater to help. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen, so make sure to bring your cosy slippers!

We have found the perfect hidden gem we have been looking for ! As frequent visitors to Blackpool for events, shows and catch up with friends we will definitely be booking here again… In fact don’t think we will use our regular hotel place again now we have found you, as this is a beautiful apartment with everything you need and more ! Especially the I’ve forgotten cupboard with lots of item like toothpaste, deodorants , shower gels etc all for £1.00’each and they are branded items too ! Perfect place , perfect parking either outside or private parking just behind , and best of all the heating and hot water system is NOT on a timer so you can have it on when you want which is perfect ! Thank you so much for your hospitality we will be back !
